I am a traditionalist but I like when teams explore new uniforms if they are done right and the ND uniforms are just plan bad! WOW!!!!

My real hatred stems from the gold finish on the helmet, it's just God-Awful. I really don't mind the 60/40 split or anything else, I think their standard "gold-dome" finish would have pulled the whole thing together--much like the rug in The Dude's living room.
I think their fans should be happy that they will probably only see these jerseys for one game. Seems like Nike does a bit of a better job than Adidas at designing special or new uni's.

I agree if they would have not had the split of the uniform...I am not a fan of half and half make a uniform that still keeps the integrity of the school.

I was just down in Austria and as we were approaching the Alps I started laughing uncontrollably. My wife asked me what was wrong and I had to explain to her I was thinking of the edited-for-TV version of the Big Lebowski where they replace one of Walter's lines with "This is what happens when you fight a stranger in the Alps." Needless to say she didn't get why I found that so hilarious.

anyways, the uni's are horrible. I am just stunned they didn't stay with the all gold. Doesn't even resemble a ND uni.
