What happened to Chris Grovich? I never saw an announcement that he was leaving BSD.
I clicked on it... I regretted it immediately...
I've read a lot over at BSD lately... seems like anyone refusing to believe the PSU got hosed gets the axe. There was a guy called "aurabass" that suffered the same doom.
Actually aurabass getting banned was a good thing. This is the first that I'm hearing about it though.
First off, he was a Tennessee fan who just "happened" to be a "huge" Paterno fan. So everyday he would post something that followed the cult's prescribed worldview but just slip in something that was very fringe... like predicting that Sandusky would be acquitted of all charges for lack of evidence. He wouldn't appear to be trolling though. He would go into a lot of detail and appear really sincere. And was especially devout in describing the atrocity that was committed on Paterno. (I think Chris and the other BSD staff were suspicious that he was trolling on the sly.)
Then the cult would get all worked up and you would get all these comments from long-time BSD commentors that would shock the crap out of you because of their fringe content.
On more than one fanpost, Chris asked him to please just stop. Chris would write that the content being posted was just embarrassing. Aurabass would get all defiant and the cult would back him up so Chris would just let him continue.

He should be banned from here(does his ban hammer still stand?), except for a monthly article. That dude has a hilariously broken concept of how the world works.
