Is it just pure coincidence or is Storm Klein just in the wrong place at the wrong time? 2010 Klein and Nathen Williams charged with assult when they beat up a student when he was trying to defend a female student at an off-campus house. Then came the the recent charges that Storm assulted his baby mama and threw her into a door. The charges have been lessened and mysteriously the asulted female recants her story. Honestly I don't believe a word he says and we all know that he laid his hands on that girl. I have a friend who went to High School with Klein and he told me that Storm had a long history of fights and "shocker" being a bit of a hot head and bully. Urban do the right thing and keep him off the team. IMO

Does it really matter? He won't have a career after this. He's not a starter, he'll have lost even more ground now. Keep him on for depth and then trash the scholarship because he's a senior.
You see it does matter and it has nothing to do with playing time or depth charts. Call me old school but there was a time when something like this would have been a no brainer instant dismissal. He obviously has a history of violence and I feel like he shouldn't be given that second chance. I guess you could claim that the charges were dropped but I think Urban can read between the lines and kinda peice it together that he did something. School already has a black eye from tat-gate and was just hopping to clean it up a bit. ( Mewhort and Stonny urinated in public which is a bit less then assult on a women)
What I find funny about this situation is I met this kid a few years ago and got to talk to him for a few hours. He was extremely soft spoken and shy. Didn't seem like the kid could hurt anyone unless you saw him play on the football field
@OTRAIN2416 alcohol has probably played its part in the mentioned incidents. Maybe they should help him in that aspect, help him get his life in order. He did put his hard work and sweat into OSU hopefully he can leave there in good terms.
"Without winners, there wouldn't even be civilization."
@adamant73 - I think it's a bit reckless to jump to such conclusions. I don't think being in a few scrapes as a high schooler/college student qualifies as a history of violence. I've been in a few fights and would like to think I'm not a violent person at all. Domestic violence is a very serious matter and should never be taken lightly, but I just think people passing judgment on a young man and a situation they know nothing about is wrong.
I've met the kid and spent time around him, and like otrain, I found him to be very soft-spoken and polite...almost humble to a fault. Unfortunately, the actions of individuals (at tOSU & many other schools) before him have given way to an attitude of 'guilty until proven innocent' with athletes.
I've heard the exact same thing from a good friend about Storms past. As my friend put it "I'm surprised he lasted this long."
I'm sure Urban knows the whole story and will do right considering all the bad press in the past. This issue is part of his "centerfield" theory.
-Go Bucks!
I think my judging of Mr. Klein is more of a factual opinion. I think that it is great that he is soft spoken and polite but it sounds like that is some kind of act. The stories I've heard from a High School teamate were that he was a hot-head and had a nasty personality when he drank. I don't know him personally but from what I've seen I think it is safe to say that he has some issues with violence and I don't think that OSU needs a guy like him around the program.
I don't mean to be rude, but is your judgement fact or opinion? I think "factual opinion" is a bit of a paradox. Nonetheless, the same platform we use to satiate our thirst for all things OSU can also be used to indict young men before they are afforded due process...and there's the rub.
I mean I know that he was not arrested for this and all.......but this is not his only domestic issues. He use to beat up his girlfriend from high school. She goes to a northeast ohio university and told a few friends of mine and myself two years ago when we met at school. She never went to the cops partially because she was scared, partially because of abusive relationship syndrome, so that is what it is and I guess this "does not count" but he has issues with hitting women
Self righteous much?
I was hoping my fellow Buckeye fans would be above rumor spreading, but I guess 3rd hand accounts are good enough.
He did plead guilty to disorderly conduct, so he did something. Who knows what that is...disorderly conduct is so vague. That kid has some anger management issues. He may very well be a soft-spoken and humble individual when he's not piseed off. Lord help you if you trigger that temper, though.
Class of 2010.
I agree that 3rd hand accounts suck and normally I wouldn't go there.......but when you are not even really talking about osu but talking about a class assignment and just because you are wearing a osu shirt she specifically brings that up, I don't know just seemed pretty sincere at the time. The kid is going to be let back on the team because urban is not going to boot someone for disorderly conduct and have all future punishments be looked at through a microscope.

We do not know all the details. Only the court does, hard to form an opinion about this matter.
@ADAM
By the way listen to what you are saying, "I have a friend who went to High School with Klein and he told me that Storm had a long history of fights and "shocker" being a bit of a hot head and bully."
You sound like a 12 year old drama queen sorority girl. Just let it go sir.
My thoughts exactly Remington. Gossip. Let's set the bar higher folks.
Ha Ha @Remington2323. Thank you for the 12 year old sorority girl comment I'm sure that my opinion really deserved that. Facts are that Storm has been arrested twice for violence and my friend/source who was a High School teamate is pretty reliable IMO. No worries becasue I don't really care what you think when you make a 5th grade comeback like that one. I'll stay on a mature level and keep from the name calling but if you'd like to talk sports then hit me up Sir.
Ya man, well my buddies ex-girlfriend's mom's sister told me you were a nice guy so I let this one go. I mean come on dude this is childish BS. I'm not arguing anymore. Go Bucks!
