I'm kind of disappointed that we haven't seen a gray box in a while. I was thinking Mitchell or Lewis would have commited by now. I still have all my trust in the staff to be doing the right thing so I'm not worried. I'm assuming when the recruits see our explosive offense and dominating defense start in 10 days they will want to jump on board, but we all know what assuming does. Just an opinion. Let the hating or agreeing begin.

Lewis will be announcing very soon and Mitchell wants to visit Columbus before he makes a decision on the Bucks.

Maybe I am wrong, but with the staff so focused on getting the team ready for the season, I would imagine that recruiting has taken a little bit of a backseat to practices. Once the season gets moving and recruits see what a Meyer-run Buckeye squad looks like there will be a few gray boxes to look forward to...
I feel as if we've lost ground with Mitchell. He visited Oklahoma. I believe he has visited FSU (or did that get cancelled/postponed?). I know Ohio isn't just a stones throw from Texas but if we are a serious contender for his services, I think he would find his way here sooner than later.
@OSU07... if he is serious about OSU and doesn't want to rush a commitment, waiting until the season starts to take an official during a home game makes a lot more sense. Plus, the trip will definitely have a greater impact.
With that being said, I'm too excited about the season to worry about recruiting right now. The coaching staff will figure it out, I just want to see some real football already.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
Hush your mouth. Gray boxes have become more of a harbinger of bad news than good in recent times. (Maybe our 11W overlords nead to create a scarlet box for happy news.)
@741 - Oh, I like that - the "Happy Scarlet Box" and "The Gray Box of Doom".

hate, hate, hate!
There, I did my part!
Think Mitchell is saving his OSU visit until after he has visited any other place with remote interest. That way he can commit on the spot to Urban. Don't forget that he and his younger bball brother great would love to go to the same school. Oklahoma bball is not a desired destination for top talent. l
I think the staff could have popped a gray box up for Klein's stuff today.
Poster Child: You're exactly correct...after FNL the staff has been concentrating more on gettting ready for Miami of Ohio. They'll always be recruiting...just not as much till the season starts to roll. I'm sure Alex will have more to add to vistors list...soon.

I don't think Klein comes back to the team... If he does he might not play anyway with the load of talented freshmen that came in. I could see Boom Perkins and Jamal Marcus getting a lot of time this year with their speed, athleticism, and competitiveness.
I agree with you Buckeye In SEC. I was hoping to see a grey box by now as well. But everything will be ok and work out.
Klein's possible playing time shouldn't be a deciding factor for his return to the team. It should be one of the last reasons, IMO.
PosterChild is right. Get the product in front of the customer and it will be gray box deluxe.
i second the diff color box idea.... also blake griffin went to oklahoma so they have pulled top bball talent.
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
