Domer takes shot at Buckeyes...

Pretty absurd when you think that their starting QB assaulted a police officer and their greatest WR since Tim Brown was a habitual drunk driver. Bottom line, these guys will blame anything and everything on why they haven't won instead of taking personal accountability for the fact that their program just isn't elite, and hasn't been since the late 80s early 90s

The astonishing thing about Pinkett's comments --aside from the stupidity-- is that he seems to be saying it's good for a team to have "a few criminals" on it, and looks forward to the effect these criminals will have on Notre Dame.

Dafuq did I just read? What kind of "bad ctizens" is he talking about? Felony bad, running with scissors bad? You need bad dudes "for team chemistry"? This fills my head with DERP.

I've been trying to think and maybe staff can help me. I know we've had A LOT of players charged and in some cases convicted of crimes, however, those convicted of crimes (beyond DUI or disorderly conduct) to my knowledge have been dismissed (ie: Louis Irizarry, Ira Guilford, Eric Haw, D. Clark,...)

The last players I can think of that were potentially convicted of a crime more serious than DUI/disorderly conduct and were kept on the team would be Troy Smith and Santonio Holmes for their 2003 fight outside the towers. I am not even sure if they were convicted in that case.

Bottom line is, Ohio State doesn't keep criminals on their football team and if Pinkett has to reference players/incidents from a decade ago then their fan base truly is living in the past

I believe Holmes had his charges dropped and Troy had to pay a fine

It really pis#es me off that Rees assualts a police officer and he gets a 1 game suspension. How did he not get kicked off the team, no questions asked? If Urban did that, I would have a hard time respecting him.

I love how ND alums as well as some fans are ignorant...

Wait a second?  Did you say you love Holtz on the College football show(s) on ESPN? The one with Mark May?  I find it excruciating to watch.  Can't stand to hear him talk or hear his babble.  Don't get me started on "Dr. Lou."  Plus he always picks ND and South Carolina...ND regardless of who they are playing.

Oh, ok, bhop...you edited it.  That's better, I guess.

Wonder if he was trying to get Kelly to blow his fuse before the season started...
