I can't seem to remember and didn't see anything when I went further back. It would be a shame if he didn't get on the field this week. I believe Se'von Pittman hasn't lost his yet either but he has been injured right?

Marcus did not lose his stripe....Fickell is being TOUGH with the LBs, especially Marcus who they know has all the physical talent of anyone on the team, he just needs to put it all together...as Meyer says he gets from point A to point B better than anyone he just doesn't know how or why yet
There's a difference between being impressed by raw ability, and trusting a guy at his position enough to put him on the field on saturday. He's got 4 years to develop, I don't think we should be expecting him to be up there right out of the gate
Well Just from the talk from Meyer it was like this dude is going to see the field this year and usually these OOC games are a good spot to get those guys some field time. I just couldn't remember if he still had his stripe and/or see the field this week. I am sure he will get there and when he does, we'll see some real talent. Meantime, I guess we could accept the guys who will be on the field! I mean, if we have too! hehehe
Thomas still has the stripe no? I am sure that will be gone come Saturday since he is in the two-deep. =)
I think Meyer has already made clear the freshmen he expects to see playing time outside of special teams (for the first game). Here are the freshmen in the two-deep:
Defense: Bogard, Washington, Spence, Perry, Williams, Perkins
Offense: Boren, Decker, Dunn, Thomas
I think a fair amount of freshmen will see some special teams action and maybe a few 3rd team reps if the score gets out of control.
Freshman on the cusp of PT: Marcus, Schutt, Murray
Regarding Marcus....the overall attitude is that the speed and athleticism is there, but he doesn't yet have a firm grasp of the defense. In due time.....
Love the heart of this kid - LOVE IT. Will be shocked if he doesn't turn out to be a big name here. He has fantastic attitude, isn't a thug and has his priorities straight. I'm a big fan. Go Jamal - we're behind ya, buddy. Welcome to the family.
Success - it's what you do with what you've got. - Woody Hayes
without a doubt, one of the best high school linebacker highlight tapes i have ever seen. if he can stay in school and stay out of trouble, this kid will be a star by the time he is finished at ohio state.
