If you had to choose how many OL would be in the 2014 class & who it was, who would you choose & why?
I believe the OL position along w/ the LB position will be the most interesting to watch for the 2014 recruiting class. The OL class seems to be loaded w/ alot of kids high on OSU & same goes for the LB, but this is about the OL. Jimmy Byrne, Jamarco Jones, Demetrius Knox, Mason Cole, Damian Prince, Orlando Brown Jr, Braden Smith, KC McDermott, Donell Stanley, Nick Richardson & Kyle Trout or someone else? I honestly dont see guys like Prince, Smith & Stanley coming to OSU as Prince & Smith go to another Big Time School & Stanley has a non commitable offer, IMO. I see a battle brewing for guys like Byrne, Jones, Knox, Cole, Brown Jr, McDermott, Richardson & Trout. I have a strong feeling Knox is just playing the recruiting game & he's known as a jokester. IMO, Knox is just playing along & trying to get his friend some big time hype. Brown Jr will strongly look south, but he has way to many ties to Ohio. Byrne is the top Ohio kid & will be a "must get" prospect. Jones, Cole, McDermott are 3 out of state top OL that are highly interested in OSU. Now talking about Richardson & Trout are different as neither have offers. I believe Trout will get one very soon & Richardson could possibly earn one, based off of how OSU does against the top OOS kids.
I see OSU taking 4 OL in this class, Hopefully! I believe Byrne will be a Buckeye. Trout will get his offer & be a Buckeye. Now I feel that OSU is just "out there" to guys like Knox & Brown, & we land 1 if not both of them. I feel like McDermott could take the spot of 1 of those 2 if we dont land both. If OSU misses on Knox, Brown, & McDermott, Richardson will get his offer & be a Buckeye.

I'f like to see Trout get offered, keep that Lancaster tradition alive
Knox will be a longhorn barring something changing, his friend already committed there and Knox said again today they will be playing at the same school. However his lose isn't bad because there are other great OL prospects out there for us like the ones you mentioned to get. I think we get Bryne, Trout, Jones and if I had to guess a 4th Brown Jr.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
I would like to see Trout offered to keep the Lancaster tradition alive, but mainly because he is a top 10 kid in Ohio for 2014 & id imagine a top tackle in the Midwest along w/ Byrne. The staff also said he was the second best OL in camp in June & the staff was in his ear quite alot at FNL. He's all Buckeye if offered. I know the staff is more interested in the elite national tackles, but not going after a top player in Ohio at a position of need & someone from a pipeline would sound like an offer coming. Its not like Trout is just some average OL, because the kid is a big boy at 6'6 about 260 right now & he can play. Getting Byrne & Trout in this class would be good in a few ways. 1 - Keep top Ohio talent in state 2- keep them away from Big 10 & ND 3- 2 very good players @ position of need.

Saw over on TOS that Braden Smith and the buckeyes have mutual interest and he wants to visit. Dont wanna get my hopes up, as it may be hard to pull him all the way from Kansas, but getting him on campus would be big. Kid is a stud

Kansas is no man's land though. If you're not enamored with UT or Oklahoma it's really anyone's game
