Urban Meyer would fire him, beat the crap out of him and call the cops.
Jim Tressel would fire him, call the cops and so forth.
John Cooper would bite his fingernails, fire him, call the cops and go lose to Michigan.
Earle Bruce would beat the crap out of him, drag him to the police station by his ear and fire him.
Woody Hayes would beat him to death and call the cops to come pick up the trash.

Man, I think we can play with this one for a while and stretch it out to coaches other than OSU coaches.
Nick Saban-Nick would have called the cops, but only after he called his daughter. She would have stabbed him, then Nick would have fired him for medical hardship and hired 3 more guys to fill that one spot.
Brady Hoke would have called the cops, but very quietly. Then when the cops came to arrest him, since it was a secret they were coming, he'd be able to stand up and point at him so the cops knew who to arrest.
Les Miles would have buried him alive in his back yard, then harvested the grass that grew over the hole to eat before each game. That way whenever anyone said "Hey where'd that guy go" he can eat a handfull of grass and say "Oh probably closer than you think".
Bobby Petrino would have asked if he wanted to ride his motorcycle with him, then call the cops. Then ride to said cops and..well...

Tressel Does have a stigma of not reporting things, that is the sole reason why we have Coach Meyer now.

Tressel was trying to protect his players by withholding information. He would never stand for the abuse of children and would report such an incident immediately.
Covering up petty cash violations is one thing, covering up criminal child sexual abuse is quite another thing altogether. Nothing JT did or didn't do during the "scandal" would have me believe that he wouldn't have called the proper authorities.
I'm not saying he wouldn't report child abuse. But I am saying he is not as ethical as we all believed. I mean come on guys I love Tressel but he sure did put on a front to be as straight as an arrow and he was not.
Don't forget one thing . . . part of the reason why this is so shocking and sad is that before this all came to light, most everyone would've said that Paterno would've reported this as well.
