PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Does anyone have anymore information on the WR that was thought to commit to OSU soon?
Alex, Derek and Miles had just said they had heard rumors about it being a possibility but I dont know if they ever heard anything solid on it.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
I hope it doesnt happen cuz I want Foster. period. After him I want Gibson or Quick (Treadwell is unlikely.) Then we need to snatch up Derrick Green and hopefully Vonn Bell (who knows.) Then we need to go after a couple O-Lineman and save a schollie for that highly ranked recruit Meyer flips at the last minute. Ok, it never works out the way u plan, wouldnt surprise me if we didnt get a single player we I mentioned in that group.
We never said we heard anything SOLID on it as BJ said....we said there was buzz at The Opening that a WR was high on the Bucks....likely candidates are Levonte Whitfield or Ra'Shaad Samples. Samples committed to OK St but Greg Powers of Scout said he thinks if OSU can get him up for an official they have a great shot. Kermit Whitfield revealed his top 6 and OSU was on there. He visited camp at the end of June and multiple players have been given his name from the staff to try to recruit. My money is the buzz was about Whitfield and I am digging to try and find out more.
