Probably the only time you'll ever see a thread on here about Temple football. This means that PSU hasn't officially beaten our Buckeyes since 1997. Whoever N/A is has been the biggest thorn in our side along with Wisconsin since 1998.
I thought this thread was going to be all about how Temple, Penn, Pitt and Slippery Rock would be returning to glory as Pennsylvania football powers. The Lehigh-Lafayette rivalry could be heading into its golden era.
^^^ Agree that Pitt stands to benefit the most from this. I also think that Chryst was a good hire at Pitt and don't think it's that unlikely that Pitt could start fielding tough teams in the next couple of years. Temple? Nope.
The funny thing is...I started this thread as a joke. Now, we're talking about Pitt as the pride of Pennsylvania football. Oh dear! Mark May would be oozing with pride...as for Temple, they look like they might finally have a chance to beat StatePenn here in the next couple of seasons and end the streak!
^^^ I get the joke, but I still think it's an interesting question. Outside of Ohio, PA is probably the most fertile recruiting ground in B10 territory. Pitt has a potentially good coach in place and a chance to take advantage of their new position in the PA recruiting scene.
Agree that Pitt has a good coach now and will "steal" some PA guys that they normally wouldn't get but I'd still expect teams like OSU, UM, and ND to benefit from PSU's demise the most when it comes to recruiting this particular area. But Pitt will definitely benefit as well.
I love that this thread is continuing (not being sarcastic, it cracks me up). Alex, can we get a professional take on the latest Temple recruiting class and how they are looking for 2013's class?
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."
I personally enjoy the thread due to its humor as well. For all we know, Hackenberg, Johnson, Douglas and Breneman may just sign with Temple and bring the program some much needed recognition. Temple is trending up.

Class of 2010.
Who won the 2010 game between OSU and PSU? It never even happened...
No, the 2010 game still happened because all losses are still counted.

Pitt is really going to benefit from this, sadly this might make the big east exponetially better

Sh*t this means we to have to hear more of Mark May doesn it?
I can't ever hear Mark May over my "72-0" inscribed earplugs
