Is it just me or does Shelton Gibson seem extremely PUMPED about FNL? Seems as if it's almost an "audition" for him where he knows he must perform well to be where he wants to be....I could be wrong but the young man seems highly motivated this morning and that can only mean GOOD things for Buckeye fans... Thoughts?

SIR: agreed, I don't think his on the field performance is an issue. Maybe there is a spelling bee at the end that hasn't been announced and he is excited to show off his academic progress.

Hopefully he "gets it" now and is doing everything in his power to do the right things on and off the field. Kids will always be kids and some mature more quickly than others. You can't deny Gibson's atheletic prowess though and with Foster seemingly out of it and Quick looking more and more like a L'ville snag, I'd be lying if I said that I didn't want Gibson to work thorugh his issues and prove he's Buckeye material...

He better out perform Allen or the staff may focus more on him (if they're even participating). I tend to think this "behavior" Gibson's been exhibiting on twitter should stop if he wants to be part of this class (granted today it's all good...we'll see if the coaches don't swoon over him at FNL). I feel he expected to be a part as opposed to earning it. We'll see...I like his skill set but not sure about his intellect.
