If he falls in love on his visit I think he might be the first in the class and could convince Glass that OSU is a good place for him. McMillian for who ever gets him will be their top recruiter... he is very active on twitter
He also said on twitter that hes not going to Georgia's "Dawg Night". He talks with Clifton Garrett quite often and just recently tweeting Noah Spence. Hope to get this kid!
http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/colleges/osu/post?id=693Did Raekwon say he wasn't going to Dawg Night? I had thought he said he was going, and I recall him saying UGA even "felt like home." Perhaps I'm not remembering correctly?
Regardless, it's great news he will definitely be at FNL!
Edit: Perhaps my problem was I read an ESPN $ article?
This kid really wants to play behind a stellar DL so this is where our biggest advantage lies IMO. Hopefully guys like Spence, Washington and Bosa will get in his ear.
Did anyone see the buckeyegrove.com feature on him?
"I really want to get to know Dante Booker and Clifton Garrett," McMillan said. "We're talking about being the 'B1G Three' (laughs). I am also looking forward to meeting Noah Spence and Bradley Roby. Those guys are really cool and I've been texting with Spence lately."
One of the brains behind Ohio State's 'Friday Night Lights' camp is Mark Pantoni, and McMillan is looking forward to a chance spend more time with Urban Meyer's right-hand man.
"Man, Mark Pantoni should be in the Hall of Fame", McMillan joked. "That guy is great, the best in the business. He really takes time to talk to me as a person first, not just a player. All coaches should be like that. I am looking forward to beating him in ping-pong. Again (laughs)."
Per an interview that I think Genestarwind posted on one of his daily updates on her, Raekown said he does not want to commit anywhere until his senior year at the Under Armour game.
The Buckeyes I feel are in a very good position with him, but getting him out of the state of Georgia and away from other commits to Georgia is going to be the problem. If we could though, it also puts us at a high chance of landing Nick Glass also.
McMillan coming to FNL is awesome, I think he will be back to OSU quite a few times...only bodes well... and I dont think UGA has as much of a pull on local recruits as most think...Auburn seems to usually cobble them up more often than UGA does.
About the not commiting until the AA game, it's not that I don't believe him personally, but this year alone there's been like 10 kids that said they weren't commiting until around signing day and have already commited, one being Billy Price.
My guess is he commits sooner rather than later after talking with the coaches to 1) help recruit to the school he chooses and 2) be able to enroll early.
It seems to me like the awe of commiting at an AA game or on signing day is wearing off and most of the kids who commit at that time are the ones who truly didn't know where they wanted to go or changed their minds.
It definitely looks like a UGA-OSU battle, but there are some things to watch that will help decide for him. I believe that he won't "decide" until the UA game, but if certain things trend our way it would be ours to lose..
First and I think most importantly at the moment is his relationship with Nick Glass. The two are chummy and constantly talk about taking visits together and one day playing together. Glass is obviously a 2014 Georgia commit at the moment, but continues to flirt with other programs.
Second is Da'Shawn Hand, the top 2014 recruit whom Raekwon has stated several times that he would like to play with. The Buckeyes are sitting pretty with Hand, but way too early in the process to call ourselves the leader.
Finally is the entire OSU recruiting family.. We could use a player or two to hit it off with Raekwon and draw him in to OSU like Glass is with Georgia. Perhaps Spence, a top-10 recruit who plays on the DL (McMillan said he will only go somewhere with a dominant DL), can be that guy, but hopefully someone in the 2014 class like Garrett, Booker, Hand, etc. Being in Georgia, he has a million people in his ear constantly about wanting him to play there. We need to start evening the score
I was really hoping that Rueben Foster was going to switch to Georgia. That would have really helped us seeing as McMillan would probably not want to be just one class behind him, but I'm pretty sure this commitment will stick becuase he is living in Auburn and he got a big auburn tattoo.
This is HUGE! With Garrett, Hand, and Glass all in town at the same time with McMillan, look out! Not to mention this will be a three day visit!
Also to note, it looks like he wont be able to make it to Dawg Night this weekend as well.
That is a hugh weekend... The red carpet will be rolled out nice and wide.. Hopeing good things
Great news.
Good chance to try and make up ground and hopefully pass UGA.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
OSU definitely doesn't trail UGA.
FWIW: His twitter avi picture had him doing the block O a few days ago.
~Because we couldn't go for three~

It seems like mcmillan is tryin to get glass to osu with him at times
Do you think he commits at Fnl
The B1G is screwed #buckeyeswag
I we have a looooong time to go before he commits anywhere, this OSU-UGA battle is gonna be rough
@ Gratzy Probably not. Still too early.

I think he plans to announce at the under armor all-american game.

sounds better and better everytime...
Herm
@BASS He said a few days ago that he had a dentist appointment during Dawg Night. Seems like a terrible excuse, but I'll take it
Oh, I'll take it too, and thanks for that update!
@MHermanson4, that does sound very good! I hate to use the word "imagine" again, but imagine McMillan, Garrett, and Booker in the same class...
Raekwon just posted on twitter a pic of him weighing 241! Kids a beast already.
I'd be curious to know what he says about the other schools? All the positive things about OSU are great as long as he's only saying them about OSU
