I didn't see this in Gene's quickbits, probably coming today. Maybe the tide is turning for Alabama after Nkemdiche went to Clemson (for now) and Foster flipped. The consensus #1 and #2 (on most sites) recruits , once considered to be Alabama locks. It's not the end of the world as Bama still has 5-stars Jonathan Allen and beast TE OJ Howard and several top 4-star players, but you have to consider this a win for the rest of the nation.

yea i was kinda excited to see that as well. to me it seems the tide is turning toward USC

it will be interesting to see how USC ends up. They obviously have some top level talent, but once they have a couple years of scholarship reductions they won't have much depth. So if a couple of those top guys either don't pan out or get injured there may not be much in the way of a back up plan.
USC's class is ridiculous, once they get back to the BCS this year, itll be life as usual out in LA... Foster's move doesnt hurt Bama that much at all, they are still loaded, just takes away from some of their insane depth on defense
Hail - I would love for this to be a sign that Alabama is losing steam, but unfortunately, they are still Alabama and Saban is still their coach. I think as long as he is there and as long as they are playing championship level football (2 things which seems to go hand and hand), they will be more than fine in both recruiting and on the field.
The unfortunate part of the Foster flip is that he went from Alabama to Auburn. A guy flipping from one SEC school to another (unless he flipped from Alabama to say Kentucky) doesn't really help the rest of us in our continuing battle against the forces of evil (which is of course the top tier of the SEC).
i feel like osu beats auburn 8/10 times.... i cant say the same about alabama
