You tell me, what can I expect from 11W? I've only visited a hand full of times before finally deciding to join.
Personally, I'll try to be as up beat and positive regarding Buckeye Nation. I'm PUMPED about the up coming year and beyond!!!
Personally, I love this site because Alex and the crew are great, and you don't put up with all the childish bickering like you see on bucknuts. However, a few folks have started to bring the ego trip over here lately, but the moderators seem to be stepping in to keep it in check. Expect great articles, in depth analysis, and current news updates with quality folks on the boards.
Just be respectful and you should be alright!!
The info and writing here is second to none. I feel truly spoiled by all the great columns I get to read on 11W.

Everyone here hates Scum, Everyone here loves chicks, and we are all ready for Urban Meyes 1st football season at tOSU. I think that sums it up for ya.
Be prepared for great articles, witty comments, people "seeing what you did there", funny pictures, lots of Muck Fichigan, and the occassional troll or grammar nazi. Oh and awesome t shirts.
When told OSU set school record for 50+ games this year, UFM said "That's good. We're gonna break that next year."

I am new to this site as well and get tired of the stupid comments that are made daily on Bucknuts and Scout. I like the write ups on here as they seem to be insightful and funny at times. Alex does a good job of posting good information on recruiting and 11w has added additional staff. I still belong to Bucknuts but information seems to be coming from different sites much faster and Bill Kurelic seems to post information that are no more informing then on the free boards. I use to love Bucknuts but since they left Scout I really did not see an improvement of the site. 11w has some really good write ups and the people on this site for the most part post responsible.
Don't suck. That's all there is to it.

Good site with good articles, unbiased reporting, only a handful of trolls... Reminds me of where I grew up, Nice little town, all middle class homes but right in the dead center this was this ghetto trailer court where 90% of the crime happened.

Just evacuate quickly when users go into maximum butthurt mode, it escalates fast.
Honestly the only thing you should be weary of is becoming to addicted. I literally check this site at anypoint during the day where I have some down time. Oh and there's a few michigan fans that we all tolerate because they mostly say insightful things, but still, don't worry Muck Fichigan Go bucks that is all.

I have been on for several years now, I post very little, but am on literally several times a day.
You will love the daily Skull Sessions, great to print out, fold under your arm and head to your favorite "facility" first thing in the morning. Gets you up to speed on all the latest info.
Alex and the other staffers will absolutely kill it with recruiting news. Add in rock solid contributors like Genestarwind and you will not really need to go anywhere else for your recruiting fix.
Any time you see an article written by Ramzy, read it immediately. His prose is polished, top notch writing (no putdown to the other writers, but Ramzy is a 5 star, but they have several 4 stars on staff as well).
I used to visit several OSU blogs (the free ones, yes I am a cheap ass) but over the last year or so have really only come to 11W with any consistency. As 11W has grown in popularity, we have seen some degradation in comments/commenters, but the old schoolers here will quickly crack them back in line.

One thing you have to like is that the "off-topic" stuff is almost zero and everyone here wants to talk OSU football. Unlike most other sites where football comes in second half the time...
I like that you can have a decent conversation without someone becoming absolutely annoying. Sometimes we get into disputes but they are based on real discussions. Nothing just ignorant and snide!
