Their is not a good percentage of people that have returned to true form after undergoing that surgery.
I will say this: I saw Nathan Williams when I went to watch the Senior Advanced Camp on June 10th in Columbus. He came out and was talking to Josh Perry. He looked like he was recovering very well, even more than I expected.
Also, Josh Perry looked like he had put on a lot more weight. He made it known that he didn't lose any of the speed he had either.
thanks a lot for the replies..really hope to see him back. looking at this team if he makes a full recovery(which as derek said is tough from this injury) then the defense will be even a step up from what it is now. simon hankins bennett williams(in full form) for a front 4 with the talent backing them up and an amazing incoming freshman d-line class would be nothing short of elite.
Well i like college and i like football...and im gunna keep doin em both cause they make me feel good!!!
he would definetly add a good bit with his diverse skill set. i think when people look at this years defense there is a lot of optomism as there should be as the defense will be very good, the addition of williams really pushes the unit over the top in my mind.

missed a year and recovering from microfracture surgery. Think only time will tell. Hope to see the 2010 Williams, but I'm not optomistic.

I posted this a few days ago: http://www.elevenwarriors.com/forum/football/2012/07/nathan-williams
That was from his girlfriend, so he's making serious progress.

When asked, Williams showed to be pretty effective in pass coverage, for a DE. I think that is a great contribution to our team's defense this year.
I don't always take names when I kick ass but when I do, they most often belong to a Wolverine.

I just remember a young Nate Williams being the only one who seemed to put pressure on Colt McCoy.
