More violations at Miami, FL?

It sure looks that way with the latest report from Yahoo! Sports. Golden may not be the golden boy to clean up the mess there, after all. Maybe this is why it's taking so long for the NCAA to rule on them.

This is one team I will take pleasure in watching get penalized. The whole culture around that team is one of arrogance and ignorance,

I guess this is what happens when you fight the NCAA instead of working with them. Yes, I know they claim they are cooperating and that they are compliant under Golden but IMO it seems that the U didn't put all their cards on the table and get everything out in the open.

By not doing that, I think the NCAA is going to come back again and again and keep strengthening their case.  I know a lot of us (myself included) have called for the PSU Death Penalty, but if a program ever fits the mold of a modern day SMU, it is Miami and it has actually been happening since the late 80s.

All this evidence piling up makes me wonder if they ever stopped, from Jimmy to Butch to Golly Gee Larry Coker, Randy Shannon, and now Al Golden.

People say that they think that Miami will get something similar to USC. I believe they should get a worse punishment than USC. I mean they have commited far worse pentalties than USC. Miami continues to disobey the rules and i have to agree with CAROLINA BUCKEYE, Miami fits the mold of SMU to get the death penalty.

I'm not so sure they'll get two years of a bowl ban but you can be sure scholarship redux as well as at least a one year bowl ban is coming their way (remember...they were slightly intellegent last year and sat out of a bowl game at 6-6...hmm hmmmm).  So guess we'll have to wait and see just like with PSU and Oregon.  Not sure it will be until week 8 or 9 when NCAA will make some type of verdict or after the season...hell with them who knows when it will be.

@703: I posted this on a thread a week ago or so, but if there is one thing I have learned through tatgate is that I never revel in others' misery because you don't know what is around the next corner.

RDubs, I will revel in this. The  U of Miami has had their chances and repeately blew them away. I'm tired of them and their obnoxious fans.

That's fine but we're on probation and I am sure there is something out there that the NCAA could nail us for (just as there is at any big program).  It might not be as bad as Miami or UNC, but we learned the hard way that it doesn't have to be some giant systematic problem.

They should really think about hiring Tom Bradley. He's such a class act, (according to the PSU faithful.)

When has anyone ever called Miami's fans obnoxious? Don't you have to actually HAVE a fanbase for that?
