Anyway, JC Shurburtt, one of the most knowledgeable scouts out there right now admits 247 got Elliott's evals wrong, and that he is, and I quote "elite". As most know, the site gave him a bump from 89 to 92 this week, but JC says that his stock will likely rise even more in the next ratings period.
His tapes seem like he was underrated. Good to hear it might not just be my homerism overhyping him.

That is where stars and ranking are more valuable. They at validate your homerism.
Don't care about the rankings. I'm just happy that all of our commits seem to be the real deal and are more than holding their own at these camps...

I might have 3 free hours in 15 minute daily increments lol. on a more serious note I remember Alex responding to my question and he said hes a much better version of Chris Rainey or Jeff Demps... or maybe it was a more talented Jordan Hall, i guess I cant remember haha but it definitely takes the sting a bit out of missing on Stefon Diggs. Signing Marshall and Elliot in the same class... whens the last time we signed 2 recruits with that speed? I'd love a piece on the early predictions for next years class for who might be the best speed hybrid playmakers.

More evidence that OSU is doing just fine with this years recruiting class. I imagine that by the end of their senior seasons - the stock for OSUs 2013 class will have risen greatly.

It has been known for a long time how underrated Elliott is... in fact, I think Alex made a note of this a while back, really happy for him, from everything I've read and seen he seems like an outstanding addition to the family...this makes me continue to wonder if OSU decides to go with Green or another RB afterall, I'd much rather prefer taking 3 WRs than 2 WRs and another RB
Yeah, I've always been excited by Zeke's commitment as his film impressed me. It's good to see he's proving himself to the experts as well. Go, Zeke!
Couldn't be more excited to see Elliot tear it up. He seems a pretty firm buckeye lock, but I do remember him mentioning that he was told he was going to be the only back in the class and then rumors surfaced he wasn't happy with us recruiting other backs.
His dad put those rumors to rest and affirmed their total commitment to osu, however, if the kid blows up on the national scene who knows what could happen.
Anyhow, really happy for him and showing all the hardwork pays off. Also, kudos to our coaching staff for seeing his talent from the start.
Question...how did Marcus Baugh do? He is the biggest unknown to me in our class
I heard Marcus Baugh ran a 4.8 40, but I don't see any other results for him.

He landed out of the end zone, but the fact that he came down with it was amazing in itself. This kid is going to rock Urban's system. Showed great ability to get downfield and catch the ball.
