Do the officials at PSU honestly think that taking down a statue of Paterno will make everyone forget the University's role in this scandal?
Don't misunderstand me, I think the football program needs to take its licks, but the University shouldn't be able to walk away without their own form of sanctions from the U.S. Department of Education Office of Secondary Education or any other governing body.
Am I the only one that thinks PSU should get their come-upins too?
If there have been any mentions of such in the media, I have missed it.
EDIT: I did just read that CBS said there will be "unprecedented" actions taken against PSU and the football program.
I hope the sanctions againnst PSU are just as severe as those against the football program.

Tomorrow - 9:00am. We'll see. I predict something pretty harsh coming.
The world is full of kings & queens who'll blind your eyes & steal your dreams - it's heaven & hell - Ronnie James Dio.
After this is all done, we'll be well versed in the Cleary Act. Trust me, the University is about to face much harsher times then the Football Team will.

Poison Nuts - As it should be, for both.
Indeed. It just amazes me that PSU may have been trying to distance themselves a little too late.
I agree with Poison...it should be interesting to see what's done by NCAA.
I've been saying that too Paul. I originally thought that may be the only thing that happened to PSU (with title IX and the Cleary act...now after reading many articles this morning...I'm not so sure). NCAA and Cleary act may be coming down. PSU is in trouble in a multitude of ways IMHO...
