Will be at Friday Night Lights.
Coming from Glenville, and having an offer, this might be one to watch closely I think.
I will check with Miles to see if he has anything else to add.

If he commits, I would assume that means no Bell, right?
If he commits, I think the staff must not have much confidence in obtaining Vonn Bell's signature.
And I don't think he would be coming to FNL if the staff didn't plead for him to come.
That's just my analysis of the situation.
Seems like a picture becoming clear to me.
Maybe he sees the bus is loading up, you have to think if he has a "commitable" offer what would be the need to come to FNL. Any other year I'd say no way in heck we land V.Bell, but with him spending a nice bit of his own money to come to OSU twice in roughly 30 days then shutting his camp showings down completely. I say we have a shot w/Mr.Bell, but this could be the staff preparing for life w/o Mr.Mitchell.
Worley is *probably* strictly a safety, so it would be Bell's spot.
Derek/Staff,
Where would Worley project to play? I am assuming that since we are talking no Vonn Bell (in the case that Worley commits) would that mean he is going to be taken as a DB?
I know we have seen projections as high as 22 commits for this class but to me, it seems that we are getting closer to that more realistic number of 18-19 guys. When do (or don't) we save the final spots for players such as Bell and Mitchell?
Also, besides Bell and Mitchell, who does the coaching staff feel are the top remaining targets, ones that are must takes no matter when they decide (even up to NSD)?
Worley will be a safety type. Moreso Bell's spot than Mitchell's.
Worley has a committable offer in my opinion. Glenville not a school where uncommittable offers will be placed upon. Quite frankly most Ohio offers in general are legit.
I think Worley is coming to get to know the staff more, not to prove his worth.
Worley at LB is also a possibility which would not be Bell's spot. Not sure what impact this has on Ohio State's class but I see Worley as IN.
I think Worley is a STAR...him or Darron Lee could move down to OLB, but both can play STAR or S....
If Vonn Bell wants to sign, there is slim to no chance that the staff would say no in my opinion. He is just one of the guys that you wait on.
Champions Bleed Scarlet & Gray
He needs to bulk up w/Coach Mick and become an OLB. Seems like a lot of good SEC LB's take this route. Take a fast kid on the thin side and bulk him up whilst maintaining speed. Exhibit A: Mr. Shazier.
Zach: The difference is that Shazier was always going to be a LB, that's what he played in HS and it's what he was recruited as. With Worley, there are multiple routes he can go as far as position is concerned.

703:
Shazier actually played high school with his hand in the dirt. Didn't start really playing LB until college.
@703buckeye worley is a olb and will be playing some safety/star position for the upcomming season. The kid has a nose for the ball and makes plays. He just needs to get stronger, which he has the frame to do..
The thought of No Vonn Bell makes me very sad...

I think it's too early to give up on Bell. Save that scholarship for not only him, but some other guys who are waiting until late in the cycle: MarQuez North, etc. Bank it if nothing comes to frution
I will be very disappointed if Vonn Bell isn't a part of this class, and we have to "settle" on Worley. Kind of reminds me of some of Tressel's classes. Can't close on the studs and have to settle for the the next guy. I thought Urban was the man?? I've heard that Bell's decision will come down to Tenn, OSU and maybe UGA. Come on, Tennessee, really?
On another quick point, Urban better be doing all he can do get a few of the 2014 guys from Texas to come aboard, especially the OT Demitrious Knox. He says that Texas is his leader with OSU in the mix. He also says he believes he knows where he will commit, but won't say anything for a while. Urban better be on him every day to get him to change his mind.
Meyer leaves no stone unturned when it comes to recruiting. It is not for a lack of effort if they don't come to Ohio State. If Bell stays south he probably has an affinity to stay close to home.
@weimerad, 'can't close on the studs and will have to settle...' you're joking right?

yea that noah spence guy isnt bad but could you imagine who we woulda got if we wouldnt have "settled" for him
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again

First off, I'm not defending UFM Weirdrad, his records, Championships rings and trophies do the talking. Bell likes OSU (still interested and it's not Feb. 6, 2013 yet is it???? Nope sure isn't), but have you seen the other schools he's interested in Tenn, Vandy or GA? They're all right near or close to wear he lives. I agree with 11W staff as well as my gut feeling on this (as well as tTUN getting 9 Ohio guys this year as well as 9 last year). I'd personally like it Weirdrad if UFM did take Worley (it's not to say they won't take Bell too). I believe in the coaching staff and trust OSU's going to be better for going nationally for recruits. Look at Cooper...if he was half the coach Meyer is he'd of won several National Titles...he wasn't, so that's why you got 2-10-1 VS tTUN and horrible bowl game record (besides the 1997 Rose Bowl...my fav Coop moment). Tress got good out of state kids (usually lower ranked and they made names for themselves: Gamble and others). IMO OSU fans will take time to see...and after 2012 and 2013 they'll agree with the masses. Go Bucks!

I think that Lee is a possibility for offense and that Worley will fill out to a linebacker and that Mitchell is the best tight end that we have had since Rickey Dudley.
These guys haven't even played their senior years in high school yet. There are guys who switch positions when they get to the NFL. I think that we want the best athletes that we can get and let the chips fall where they may. I don't think that any of these guys commiting is a problem for Bell.
Drop the Mitchell on offense idea.

mitchell wont play here if hes gonna be a tight end.
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
Mitchell and Lee will not see the offensive side of the ball.
agreed^^^ Lee's closing abilities at Safety are really good. Mitchell as I've said before is going to be a REALLY good Mike LB where ever he decides to go. I just hope it's OSU;-)

Chris Worley isnt coming to FNL now per twitter
well that might indicate he isnt as close to being a buckeye as we thought? would love to have him, but if its him or Von Bell gimme Bell anyday
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
It can't be helped if the guy doesn't have a way to Columbus, don't count Worley out
Agree with Gene, don't count him out.
In wait and see mode now with Worley.
@BHOP - agree partially about Mitchell, just wanted to add that a number of coaches have shown the want to play Mitchell as a DE at the next level
Im not a twitter guy so maybe someone can tell me the latest on Bell. Anything positive coming out of the Bell camp on OSU per twitter? Seems like its been kind of quiet for a while.
Bell doesn't tweet about his recruitment really, so no real indications there
I dont really know how to use twitter apart from just reading the comments. Vonn Bell has made a few comments the past couple of days basically saying: "Shut up! I havent committed yet! Leave me alone!"
What's he talking about? Hopefully it's not Buckeye fans harrassing him!
