Just for fun...b/c I know a ton of us have more than a few "inside sources". This thread might get deleted (most likely) or get me kicked out but we can all use a laugh every once in awhile. I usually try not to pile on, but the temptation got to me this time.
My "inside sources" are telling me work is slow and TGIF... and TG for 11W or else it would be even worse. They have also informed me that Buckeye football is perhaps one of the greatest inventions this world has ever witnessed.
Are any of your inside sources telling you anything? If so, don't be scared to share it here.
In all seriousness, ladies and gents, I love this site and the interactions here. Lots of insight and good information and more than a few laughs thrown in! Thanks to the 11W staff for an awesome website and to all of the forum contributors making it is what it is. I wanted to take the time to tell everyone here, staff, posters, and (innocent) onlookers that I appreciate all of you and what you bring to the site.
Glad to be a Buckeye (fan, that is. I graduated from NC State and let's face it, not much football supremacy to talk about there...sigh)!

At first I thought this was going to be a very lame joke, but then reading into it I really like and appreciate this post. People always want to ridicule everyone on this site because they have a different opinion, but at the end of the day, we are all buckeye fans and a part of the best nation in the world #BUCKEYENATION. Even the michigan fans on here know deep down inside they slightly love tOSU too... lol
Just like there can't be men without women or vice-versa right? As much as we hate them sometimes, there can't be OSU without Michigan and vice-versa.
But c'mon, no inside information to share?! ;) only kidding...

The only inside source I have is knowing I am on the verge of a bowel movement..... See what I did there?
Please flush so I don't have to see what you did there.
See what I did there?
^Very creative. I appreciate the laugh though!

One of the most entertaining games I remember was the OSU vs. NC State game from 2003. That game went into 3 overtimes and featured Phillip Rivers at Qb for NC State.

@dubjay - that's some funny shit...
The world is full of kings & queens who'll blind your eyes & steal your dreams - it's heaven & hell - Ronnie James Dio.
Here is the straight skinny...
1. Foster may have attitude issues.
2. Quick may be favoring UL.
3. Allen wears earings which to me is wierd but I'm an oldhead.
4. Gibson may have grade/test score/attitude issues.
5. Munger may be a silent commit and is a big dude for sure.
I don't usually give out gold like this but I've been feeling the respect lately.
ChromeDome: how abou that Chik-Fil-A season opener in Atlanta....NC State vs. Tennessee....should be a pretty good match-up, who do you have winning that game?
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
@Bucks43201 --> actually like my guys in that matchup but I'm with you in thinking it's a good match-up so kind of a toss-up. Don't know if NCSU can handle all that SEC-speed
@Northbrook --> Lol...Thanks for all of the insight man. Clearly this is new info. none of has ever seen here before haha!
@TennBuckeye --> My dad (graduated from tOSU in '78), we've gotten to one game every year since 2003 (tix lottery for alums; this year we got UAB, don't get me started, we always get the scrub dub games) and guess which one we went to? Little did I know that five years down the road, I'd be a student at State. But that was a HELL of game! Allen stopped T.A. McClendon on the goaline (controversy). And those years are referred to as the "golden seasons" at NCSU when we had Rivers haha. But hey R. Wilson was a damn good player too!

yea, I think if NC State can find a rythym in the running game to keep the Tennessee D honest - they'll be ok.
Both teams should be able to throw the ball pretty well, but the edge goes to NC State & David Emerson's secondary.

Haha *big* "if" there 43201, we struggle running the football - not many gamebreakers in the State backfield (maybe that'll change this year..one can hope). Very pass-happy offense to say the least.
And Emerson was an awesome, albeit unexpected, out of nowhere surprise last season...what a Ballhawk! I think OSU might have a couple of those type guys though as well (Grant and Roby)!
I've been an OSU fan since I started watching football as a young kid, but being a State alum has given me two teams to root for now haha.

Northbrook has blown my mind with all that information.
Chrome - Well, the good thing is that the ACC is not exactly a great football conference. I mean there's FSU, Clemson, Miami, and maybe UNC, and it goes downhill from there. If NC State can get it together, the league is ripe for the taking, I would think.
Another thought on NC State, do you follow college basketball? It certainly looks like Gottfried is turning things around there.
yeah...they seemed to have some struggles running the ball but Creecy & Washington should be improved & that O-Line is better, I think. Yes -- Emerson was unbelievable last year.
Good luck -- I think NC State will take em

I may actually have a slight inside source.
Jason Hatcher is expected to leave Louisville today for USC or Tenn, if this happens it would increase Quicks chance of leaving the Louisville area. Both Hatcher and Quick are highschool team mates and have displayed intrest in both playing together at Louisville together.
My insider sources also tell me that 11W twitter coverage of B1G media day is keeping me alive today
I'm not a religious follower of college basketball, which is weird seeing as I live in the "heart" of ACC country. I've started paying way more attention to it in the past few years due to OSU becoming an "elite" basketball squad under Matta (we've got it made guys - truly - with Matta and Meyer as head coaches) but I can tell you, my friends and former classmates here from NCSU are very excited/psyched about Gottfried and his potential. He is the best we've seen at NCSU (since Jimmy V) and is pulling in "elite" talents, like Rodney Purvis. NC State will be competitive this year in the ACC and for years to come under Gottfried in my opinion. But the ACC is adding new bball conference members if I recall correctly? Teams like Connecticut and 'Cuse are going to ACC bball schools soon I think. If so, what a loaded conference. It'll be tough to win with teams like that in the ACC; I mean...we already have enough trouble with Duke and UNCheat now the ACC is just top-loading the conference. Tough to play against and maybe tougher to recruit against. But Gottfried is all the rage here at NCSU; we just hope he doesn't get offered a more "prestigious" job haha!

Thanks 43201, when you're a State grad, you understand your football team is gonna need all the luck it can get! Trust me...it's painful to watch sometimes. But things are definitely looking up here in Raleigh.

Anyone else been hearing about Foster being a silent commit? Bucktooooooth, heeyaw.
