"I'm actually going to say that we've had the best offseason in the history of college football. I honestly think we had that, because guys are pushing themselves that hard. I've never seen it before. I have never even come close to seeing that."
This is from an ESPN article. Only 1 more month!!

Bill Walton-esque. I love it!!
lol... well played.
Every other day there is an article about nutrition, adding muscle, losing fat, getting faster, working harder than we've ever worked before. What in the hell was the last regime doing in the strength and conditioning department? Just seems weird that it took a complete change in order to take advantage of updated conditioning and nutrition programs.
35 days from tomorrow. :D
Last year's bunch said a lot of promising stuff before the season, and they pretty much failed to deliver. I hope that what Boren is talking about is evident everytime the Buckeyes take the football field from September to November. Walk the talk, fellas.
Doesn't ever senior say that though? Perspectives change and going into your senior year you see things differently. As much as I love hearing this, I've heard it so many times before.
yup. Save the pillow talk and go win some damn games.
If it was coming from some punk, I could see all the second guessing and negative comments. Boren is a badass. He destroys b10 linebackers. He has dropped 25 pounds and added muscle. I'll take his word for it.
Didn't mean to sound negative. As a fan, I'm just ready to see our Buckeyes knock some heads around, and not just hear them talk about it. I'm anxious for the season just like everybody else.
Well, considering Meyers teams usually have athletes in unbelievable physical condition with a ton of speed, I think it's probably reasonable to think that the regime change may have brought along a much tougher work out program and we know he's created a lot of competition in the weight room, and uses thing like lavendar jerseys to motivate guys.
I've heard of basketball players transferring out of one program and going to play for another coach and the conditioning program at the new school was so hard they wanted to quit, or they threw up the first day etc. So it's reasonable that this was the best offseason ever for Ohio State and its players.
If I recall, Tress had some pretty damn good teams, with a ton of pretty damn good athletes on them. In fact the Buckeyes had more players drafted than any other school in football in the last decade.
I do not mean any disrespect to our new coach, but lets not forget how lucky we were to enjoy ten years of one of the best ever.
@YANKEESCUM:
I completely agree.
"YOLO" = I'm about to do something extremely ignorant/stupid & I need an excuse to do it.
@YANKEESCUM this fan didnt forget
O H I O is the Buckeye State
