http://youtu.be/oNxLxTZHKM8 Andy Griffith died today at 86, and I thought a few of you young pups would enjoy this. Before he did Mayberry and became a household name he did some stand up comedy routines. He had a famous one in 1953 called "What it was was Football" where he is this country bumpkin witnessing his 1st football game. My father played it for me when I was a kid and I thought of it today when he passed away. It's cornball humor, but I still think it's fun. Thought maybe 11W members would enjoy it!

Thanks for sharing this buckeyevet, some of my earliest memories are of my dad and I watching the andy griffith show together. Sad that he is gone.
I know there's a game saturday, and my ass will be there.
NICE! I never heard that before. I thought it was pretty funny.
Gomer to Andy: "Goober says hey"
Andy to Gomer: "Hey to Goober"
Thx for sharing BUCKEYEVET... haven't heard that in 20+ years. Great memories.
R.I.P Andy Griffith!
