247 Updated their recruiting ratings of a number of players today. This isn't their big update, but they changed a number of players, namely some relevant to us.
- Ezekiel Elliott: Formerly underrated in many people's opinions, previously an 89 (3*), now a 92 (4*)
- Jayme Thompson: moves up a star rating from an 89, now a four-star 91.
- Jonny Townsend: Gets initial rating at 75.
Thompson and Elliott both make their debut in the top247, leaving us with only three commitments outside that top group, 2 if you don't count the punter.
The change pushes us to 8th in the team rankings.

I also noticed that Eli Woodard moved up to a ranking of 95 from 94, also up to 60 in rankings, believe thats a bit higher than he was.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
That change was made at the last update, but yeah, it's good to see. Also, Michigan has like 10 commitments outside of the top247, so while they have us in quantity, we have them equaled in quality.
They should have waited til after THE OPENING camp to re rank these guys. I assume Elliott will impress there too. NFTC in illinois was his first camp.
Like I said above, this isn't their big update. They'll update again in August after Elite 11, The Opening, Gridiron Kings, etc.
Also added Targets Jason Hatcher to an 89 and Devon Allen to 92
I expect Elliot to be bumped up before the final 247 rankings for this class is out...Thompson as well
