I am not sure if many of you have noticed or not, but today looking around twitter I was able to see something interesting and promising for OSU. The past couple days a lot of big names we already know about for 2014 have been talking on twitter together including, McMillan, Glass, Orlando Brown Jr., Garrett, Knox, Barker, Snodgrass, and one thing all of them have in common is that they are all offered by OSU and or top choice for OSU in the case of Barker at QB. Snodgrass mentiong that he can see himself being on the same team as Barker, Knox talking to Brown Jr. about OSU, McMillan and Garrett talking to Barker about playing together on the same team, Garrett, McMillan and Booker with being the "B1G Three," Barker talking about how sick the team would be if all them got together, and Knox showcasing Barker.
You can see with Barker and he has said before that he wants to committ early and recruit players to play on the same team and you can see him reaching out to primary OSU candidates, not to mention Jabrill Peppers, Artavis Scott and Khairi Clark as well! All these players are becoming very close with eachother and the only one that is committed else where is Glass, but I can see that if Glass sees all these other players joining together, that he would most likely jump on board not to mention one of is recent tweets talking about how Georgia is recruiting all these safeties and his dislike about it.
FNL is going to be something special especially with many of these big names, McMillan, Barker, Garrett, Glass, Snodgrass, Hand all together. I have said it before, 2014's class is going to be downright sick!

I'm cautiously optimistic. Never a bad thing for a group of Buckeye targets to be talking, but there are a lot of places that would take all of them. It all starts with FNL
Same here DMC...I can see this being a "fun" thing for now. Not sure I'm going to get too excited just yet but it is promising to say the least. If all these guys honor what they're saying, and OSU gets all these aforementioned players...WOW, as I've said before...is about all you can say. One thing I'll mention just for the record, most things that sound too good, usually are (as they say).
"There's nothing that cleanses your soul like getting the hell kicked out of you."
"I love football. I think it is most wonderful game in world and I despise to lose."
Woody Hayes 1913 - 1987
I'm gonna go one further and be blatantly negative about the whole situation, and hope I get surprised. I honestly don't think all these kids are gonna land together, they'll all get offered by everyone. Most of them are southern, and feel that pull strong every day.
That said, I think next year's class will still be top 5.
I'm with Buck-I.8... heck one of the guys you listed (Glass) is commited to another school!
Deep breaths and put away the kool-aid. I think we could see McMillan and Barker could be in this class before the '13 NLOID... Booker and Brown Jr could be next, but this is a long way off... these guys are just starting their really recruiting
Cause I couldn't go for three
Don't forget about Caleb Henderson, he could commit when he gets an offer.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
I'd be ecstatic if we could land half of those players mentioned
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
I'm cautiously optimistic as well...however it is definitely encouraging seeing all these elite kids not only talking about OSU constantly but also talking about playing together. Sort of telling.
I know it's very early in the game but with the recruiting schedule moving further and further up and kids commiting earlier and earlier, it's really not that early if you think about it.
FNL is gonna be huge for this group to bond together.
We just have to hope they keep bonding. The "Bash Brothers" are still friends too, but 2 of them split off. This isn't uncommon among recruits that are close.
I think we have a realistic hierarchy as follows:
Top Tier: Ohio guys that like the school- Booker Jr., Snodgrass
2nd: OOS guys that are really high on OSU: Knox, Brown, McMillan, Garrett, Barker
3rd: Nick Glass
Get the first domino to fall and more will come to join. Unfortunately from all I've seen none of these guys plan on committing anywhere anytime soon.
Some guys have special talents (Elfism) but I'm glad the majority of 2014ers aren't ready to commit.. These kids haven't even played their junior seasons yet. Unfortunately that's the way of recruiting right now and we fall behind if we don't offer, but there's so much unknown still
Dareian Watkins is my favorite thus far with Booker being a close second.
Until on of the 'B1G Three' actually commits, then I'll be more optimistic...far too eary, but the thought of it is quite something
It would be a beautiful thing to pull together another "Brewcrew" type of class, without the horrible ending.
This happened last year..... Remember the whole "Ethan Pocic" is a dead lock thing? Yeah, we're talking about kids that are only going into their junior year of football. Lots of things to happen, all i'm worried about is this up coming year and finishing the class of strong
What if Barker doesn't get offered?
@ Rural. I don't remember anybody saying Pocic was a lock. There was a lot of chatter that we were his leader but that's about it. If I remember correctly, most were saying that Marshall, Burrows, Price and Woodard were locks. And they were.
And I don't anyone is saying these 2014 kids are locks, nor should they be. People are just commenting on the amount of interest OSU is getting from elite OOS recruits for the 2014 class. The fact that these kids all have very high interest in OSU and are talking about playing together gets people excited. Nothing wrong with that.
I heard the entire 247top 20 are Buckeye locks...
I'll hold out my excitement until we at least get one commit...
20? I thought the class size would be larger and closer to 25 ;)
