Quick listed his top 2 in order, we came in behind Louisville. He might be Stefon Diggs situation... Apparently Stringfellow wants to come out to Columbus though, so that wouldn't be much of a step down.
Yep, hasn't cut his list yet, but I think we will make the cut whenever he does.

Land this guy along with the rest of the D we have coming in and Urban has all the time he needs, 4 years at least that is, to build his offense, get the o-line needed, etc. Bell may be the only missing piece that we need. His film looks as good as anyone I've seen, not saying much, really hope we land him.
I think Quick is going to be tough to land quite honestly. I know the programs aren't in the same universe, but Louisville kids are tough to pry away from Louisville. They've been able to keep a lot of great players like Brohm and Michael Bush at home.
Great news on Bell though, would be awesome to land him.

I think his point is that he's a 5 star prospect from the South with just about every SEC team going after him. We're in great position here, though; remember what else Alex said in the beginning of the post:
If he goes North, he's ours. But that's a really big if.
At this point, I just hope Vonn camps really well and enjoys his time here again. It would be awesome if he gets "that feeling" while he's here and knows this is the place for him. We shall see.
Bell actually doesn't have many offers from non-Southern schools. Along with OSU in that category is Notre Dame, UCLA, Missouri (which some may consider in the South, but I don't, although they are now in the SEC), and Maryland. The rest of his 20 or so offers are Southern schools. So yeah, Hodge is right, IF he comes North, I like our chances.

Making a return trip to Ohio State before the end of June. Remember their both unofficial visits. That means its on his own dime. I think OSU is in pretty good shape. He doesn't have to come to camp. If he wanted to go to camp to get coached up, he could of stayed down south to ease the cost. I think this one could get very interesting this weekend.
I guess this means what I already knew but was still holding out hope for: Su'a Cravens is picking USC tomorrow.
i think if cravens did not pick usc for some reason, he would be at michigan or nebraska. they always seemed to get a little more consideration than osu for some reason. now, after his midwest visits were cancelled, there's no way hes not picking usc. he is as good a prospect as bell, but we have a realistic shot at bell. it'd be impressive to pull him from georgia

Just read a couple of tweets from Bill Greene stating "V.Bell good as advertised ... Marc Givler stating "V.Bell, and D.Lee tearing up the drills". States "V.Bell has the best feet he has seen" ...
When has Vonn Bell said he will be making his official decision?
@Razrback ... I don't think he has set a date on when he will make it official just yet, he will be soon trimming his list though.
As I'm sure everyone knows V.Bell tore it up at camp on Sunday, on both sides of the ball actually. We all know he has stated before that OSU was his best/favorite visit thus far. Here is something even more recent, when being interviewed about his OSU camp experience. Bell said “It was a better feeling being around these coaches and players again so you just get that home feeling. We got to see more things. We got to do more things while we were here. We’ve been up here since Friday" ... and that distance won't be a factor either. So I think we actually have a chance at luring this guy to CBUS. I really hope so, dude is fantastic!!!
Do we have anyone else from his school/area on the team now or in the recent past? I seem to remember that we did.
if Burroughs switches to safety can u imagine him paired with Vonn Bell and Eli Woodard and Armani Reeves patrolling the outsides?? WOW. Then I start to think about Noah Spence, Adolphus Washington, Se'Von Pittman... how do you gameplan around that.

@Shady ... I really hope C.Burrows is able to keep his weight down, and stick to corner, but I can definitely see him out growing the postion. He is currently listed at 6-2 195lb, and its tough to think he won't add at least 5lb a year for the next 3-4 years. As for your question, I don't think you can game plan that. I've said it before I think we'll have a "SEC" caliber defense w/a "Big 12/Pac 10" offense ...
@Bama they both went to Peachtree ridge, so I'm guessing you got Bell mixed up with Orlando Brown Jr. To the question, though, I'm not sure if we have any current or former players from Ridgeland.
@Buck I.8 ... Your are absolutely correct. How the hell I confuse the 2 is completely beyond me.
I hope we get this kid and our DB's will be set for a few years, get 2-3 guys next year and our DB's will have crazy depth.

What's the deal with Bell? A couple months ago some people were talking about him possibly committing. Now... the front is dead silent and I haven't heard his name mentioned in quite some time. In fact, I'm even reading even other possibly db commits - e.g., Adrian Baker (the most) and Darron Lee.
Baker sounds like he's ready to commit at any moment. I gotta imagine if we land him, there's no room left for Bell.
What happened with Bell?
Nothing has happened. He camped, loved campus, but wants to take other visits. We may be high on his list or even leader but that doesn't mean he is ready to commit. Neither of the two you mentioned have offers yet and even if one gets one bell will still have a spot I would imagine.

Sounds like Baker is being looked at on Offense, so I wouldn't put him in the Bell discussion. That said, either way I think you take a guy like Bell no matter what

Vonn likes to stay quiet on the recruiting front but a list cut is expected soon
