Things to watch for this month:
June 10th Camp:
The most notable storylines for the June 10th camp are the ones most on everyone's minds: Will Lovell Peterson get an offer at camp? Will Vonn Bell enjoy this visit as much as his last? Will Meyer and co. find the prospects to bolster his OL depth for this year and next?
I think Peterson will get an offer, and I think there is a good chance he commits soon if not on the spot. He's a guy unlike some of the others who waited for committable offers (e.g. Love, Lazard, etc.) in that he has been slow playing his recruitment solely so he can get the OSU offer. Love and Lazard continued to hear from other suitors and kept their recruitment open, to eventually commit elsewhere. If the offer comes, Peterson is all Buckeye.
Vonn Bell is an interesting addition to this list. He's coming a reasonably far distance on his own dime, not to be pampered on a visit, but to camp for the coaches. He doesn't need to prove his worth, he doesn't need to be on campus for another unofficial, and yet, hear he is. I think this is a good sign for his interest in OSU. He'll a hard pull from the south, but our odds become more palpable when he visits under these pretenses.
There are a number of OL prospects that good get offers, for this year and next. Kyle Meadows, Sean Welsh, and Sam Coverdale are three who could get offers from the staff for 2013 if they show it in camp (in addition to Peterson, of course), and for 2014, keep an eye on Jared McCray and Jamarco Jones, from Ohio and Chicago, respectively.
Tyquan Lewis will be on campus this weekend as well, and may be camping and visiting together for a multiple-day visit. This is encouraging, as he is a quick but powerful DE that will likely be recruited as the hybrid LB role that Lewis Neal was presumed to have locked up.
Also, touted LB Michael Ferns will be on campus today, already holding offers from most B1G schools, as well as Oklahoma.
Between These Two camps, Khaliel Rodgers and some 2014 GA targets will be on campus. Rodgers is another strong OL that the staff would like to win over.
June 21-23:
A fair amount of high profile 2014 prospects, including some local RBs, some of the top TEs and WRs, and LB Clifton Garrett highlight the event.
Also on campus will be 2013 PA OL Dorian Johnson, whose recruitment seems to be down to PSU and Pitt, will give the staff a chance to win him over. If he is impressed by the visit, OSU could be a real player in his recruitment, since he had them in his interests before even planning a visit.
Clifton Garrett will also be an interesting one to watch, as some thing he could be one of Meyer's first commitments for the 2014 class. He's showing interest in multiple schools, but admits that he has grown up an OSU fan, and Meyer's program is definitely the favorite for his services. At this point, it will come down to how he handles his recruitment, and if he plans on making a quick college decision.

Peterson needs to earn an offer at this camp, he may just commit on the spot if he does
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Is there any way to get a list of the top prospects who will be in attendence?
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
@BADOWL I've looked all over for this info and all I can find is registration details. If anyone can find anything, post it in the comments, and I'll update the OP
This Sunday:
2014 OL Jamarco Jones per Marc Givler
I know Marcus Ball is camping at OSU. Havn't confirmed the date. I'll assume this Sunday because this Sunday is the senior camp I believe.
Thanks for the info I.8, hopefully we offer peterson from what I've seen and read, he looks like he could be a stud.
I am fairly confident based on what he did at NFTC camps, that if he shows the same kind of things to the coaches in person, he'll get an offer. Also, if he's allowed to commit on the spot, I won't be surprised if he does
If he's allowed? If he's not allowed, Meyer has some explaining to do.
Dorian Johnson is not "camping" as far as I know. He'll be there on the 23rd of June but thats an underclassmen camp I'm pretty sure. Dorian Johnson just a typical visit on the 23rd.
Well this is big.
update that BUCK.
Capn, Make It So...
HAHA... atta Babe
Capn, Make It So...
June 23rd camp, add OL Jimmy Byrne (2014)
S Devon Rogers ('14) I think he is camping this weekend
Gene I think he's (Devon Rogers) at Illinios this weekend and OSU next Wednesday. I think, but normally you're right on this stuff so I'm questioning myself.
I wasn't sure if it was this Wednesday or the next, but Illinois is only having a one day camp, under the lights on the 8th, which is a Friday. So I'm still trying to figure it out.
Tyquan Lewis will be at Ohio State for a 3 day visit this weekend, mark him down
I'm gonna go ahead and add visits AND camp appearances for the next two weeks, just for the recruiting implications, thanks guys
Plus, Marc Givler says 4* DE Tyquan Lewis will be on a 3-day unofficial visit this weekend, and will camp Sunday.
Hmm, I am gonna assume that is next Wednesday from the sound of that tweet, thanks for that.
I'm pretty sure Meyer is gonna offer Peterson at camp. Meyer knows he has to get some OL soon, and when Peterson gets this offer, he might even commit on the spot.
Devon Rogers just told me that it's this Wednesday, not next, so June 6th
fixed, thanks Gene
Added Kenston OL Sam Coverdale
Also, MD WR Troy Vincent (2014) is rumored to be on campus with some other MD athletes, presumably for the underclassmen camp, but I don't have all the details. If anyone has a bucknuts subscription and would like to pluck visit details from kurelic's article from yesterday, that would be nice.
Definite buzz around Peterson, Meadows and Coverdale from what I've been reading. Rumor is top performer gets the offer. Wouldn't be surprised to see two offers go out. These guys aren't the cream of the crop, but they are 3* Ohio guys and good coaching/training has made gold out of much less.
those 3 will all be fighting for offers...best man at camp wins...although I could see the staff potentially offering one of the tackles and Peterson as he is a G/C
add Jared McCray OL 2014 class to this weekend
How many OL are we looking at signing for the 2013 class?
CB Adrian Baker of Florida (2013) visiting June 22nd.
I am going to make an "Official Camp Visitors Thread" in a few after I compile a list
D'Andre Payne June 10 as well http://insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncfrecruiting/midwest/post?id=2754&_slug_=payne-coming-to-ohio-state-on-a-mission&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fblog%2fncfrecruiting%2fmidwest%2fpost%3fid%3d2754%26_slug_%3dpayne-coming-to-ohio-state-on-a-mission
add Darron Lee to Sunday
and Sean Welsh
updated, thanks guys
Add 2013 OT Mac Bosel to Sunday
DE Denzel Ware plans on camping at Ohio State, just don't know the date yet
Ill be fixing all this tonight, assuming alex doesnt create a thread in the meantime. I have a final in a few hours, and don't have the time to update for a while
I am actually going to do a story about this weekend's camp visitors for tomorrow so that's why I was compiling the list
Alright, well then I'll continue the look-ahead on this post, but it won't be updated until tonight. Please continue to add info in the comments as it comes in
Looking forward to the story Alex, thx.
Yep - looking forward to that Alex. Looks like June will be good for the Buckeyes with these camps as well as some scheduled announcements...
The world is full of kings & queens who'll blind your eyes & steal your dreams - it's heaven & hell - Ronnie James Dio.
I believe zeke elliot told Derek Young he was gonna visit on the 23rd, try and help Meyer pull in Dorian Johnson
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
LETS GO ALEX..... WE NEED AN LATE SPRING FIX>>>
Capn, Make It So...
Updated: Including Michael Ferns, who says he'll visit tomorrow
add Marcus Oliver of Hamilton who will camp the weekend of June 21-23
We're going to find an OT that wants to play for championships and in the NFL before the end of June. Gonna find a G/C too.
2014 S Nick Glass the 23rd.
Sean Welsh is legit. I love an OL with an aggressive attitude. I've been dying for us to offer this kid since about 6 months ago when I first watched the tape. I really hope the staff gives both Welsh and Peterson an offer this month.

Nick Glass? He's a great prospect. Current UGA commit if I recall.
Edit: I see that in the OP now.
He looks like a soft commit with Kitt. If at least one of them goes elsewhere I won't be surprised
WR Allen Lazard plans to camp at OSU, date still unknown
Khaliel Rodgers set to visit weekend of June 15th
Marcus Ball is going to shoot for OSU camp on the 23rd
Sam Mustipher 21st and 22nd.
Here is what I have so far....may bump my camp piece to Friday to have it as accurate as possible:
Updated to current and added notes section. Enjoy!
Buck-I.8 - Thanks for working on this (and all those who assisted). Enjoyed reading your notes section. Great stuff.
No problem, just living in misery behind my never-to-be-fulfilled dream of sports journalism
This seems like it could be a cool new feature on 11W. A calendar page. It could include lists of recruits on campus for visits or camps. But also 11W events like the spring game shindig. I would appreciate the NCAA recruiting schedule so that we are aware of all of the dead periods, quiet periods, etc.
Wow, our LB class next year could be borderline ridiculous.
I agree with RDUBS.

Please allow me to ask a seemingly dumb question: With 14 guys listed for the camp for this weekend, are there other guys coming, not top level guys or whatever, who are going to be attending this camp? 14 just seems like a small number for a camp.
There will be more that haven't notified the public, I'm sure, but actual enrollment lists aren't publicized. We can only go off of the players who tell the media things
Updated again...I will keep them rolling:
Really hope we receive a commitment out of Bell this weekend...
scarlet: I really want Bell too, but I don't think it'll be this weekend; Bell seems to want to take his time. But if Bell likes this visit as much as his last and UFM keeps the pressure on, Bell will be a Buckeye sooner or later.
"Attack the Strong, Trample the Weak, Hurdle the Dead!"
-Former OSU S&C Coach Lichter
If V.Bell does indeed to make up to CBUS to camp/visit, you have to really think he's STRONGLY considering OSU, and I personally don't think a commitment would be out of the question. You just don't make that kind of trip just to come check it out again, when you could just as easily wait on the official visit to come around. My fingers are crossed. Time to get this recruiting ball rolling again.
Ya, I could maybe see a normal visit, but why come for a camp? I get he wants to compete, etc. but there are great camps closer to him if he just wants to compete.
I say he wants to get a feel for his position coach, maybe see how he coaches his players. I hope he gets that feeling of "this is where I want to be", and if he likes C.Combs I say he commits. I can see a few commits coming before this month is out, that you have to get on board before the ship sails is really going to be pushed I think, and rightfully so,
Buckinbama, if Bell is a Safety, his position coach would actually be Coach Withers.
Updated but about to make an "Official Summer Visitors" thread to update the whole summer:
That is a ton of '14 talent on campus the weekend of 6/21-6/23. Hopefully some friendships and bonds can be made to bring that talent to OSU. Alex, are most of those listed there camping as well as visiting?
I think most that come are going to have some sort of visit, especially out of state guys
