Reportedly the staff wasn't happy with his academics and wanted to wait to see of he can improve them. Alex and staff, however, still all seemed to think im a Previous Gibson thread that if the academics check out he is still all Buckeye.
@Buck i.8 ... Whoa, that is super low, to the point its funny. Here in Alabama you have to have at least a 2.0 which isn't great, but at least its a "C" average. I'm thinking if he is having those kind of issues taking highschool classes, it isn't going to get much better for him in college.
Well to be fair, I went to a poor city district so if the standards weren't as low as they were, some of our rivals wouldn't be able to field teams.. which they still weren't in my sport (baseball).
at marion harding high school (public) it is currently a 1.8....Furthermore at ohio state marion my bball players had to carry a 1.8. I am not Urban and just want eligible guys that can play!
Alex - Are you thinking Gibson will not be able to commit until the Fall, when he has a chance to work on his grades and improve them to the staff's satisfaction?
I heard from a very very good source (former teacher) that he struggles greatly in classroom
Hardly home but always reppin

1 question if his academics are so poor how does he continue to remain eligible to even play sports?
Eligibility rules for high schools are a joke, especially public. In my district you had to have like a 1.5 or something.
Ill take Quick and Foster before Ill take Gibson at this point

mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
I mentioned this on another post, but if you check out his profile on Rivals, it says his GPA is 3.1 . I don't put much stock, if any in that, though.
I'm sure if I played football I could tell rivals I had an 8.9 and they would print it. That's too much detail to be very accountable with
True. I'm not even sure why they would include GPA.
