Treadwell has cut his list of potential schools down to seven: Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Michigan State, Michigan, Illinois, Notre Dame and USC. In my opinion, he's all Blue.

If this is the same source I've seen from a few days ago, it conflicts with like 4 other sources that give a different number and list of his alleged top schools. Take this with a grain of salt, he's said he'll be back on campus. That being said, he's going to Michigan
I still think he goes to tsun, but I'm not 100% sure like I was awhile ago.
It seemed like they were putty heavy pressure on him to commit a few weeks ago and it didn't happen, so there has to be something else holding him back.
I would take Robert Foster over him anyways so Im not too upset about this especially since I never once even considered he was ever going to commit to Ohio State. Its not like we could get Treadwell, Foster AND Jalin Marshall (not to mention quick and shelton.) so.... Farewell Treadwell.
@PARTISAN Here's what was holding him back. He loves the process. He's been a guy from the beginning that has showed a desire to make his recruitment last a long time, because he loves being swooned over by coaches, which is understandable. I think if UM loses him, it could be because of this, though. He keeps fielding interest from schools all over, and he might accidently land on a new favorite.
@SHADY, I agree with you here. I don't think he fits in the spread amazingly, I just don't want to see him at UM. I hope he gets drawn out to Oklahoma or OK State or the like, and then we can enjoy the fallout.
I'm with Shady and Buck-I.8 here. Give me Gibson/Marshall/Foster any day. Maybe toss in a Quick or Devon Allen, as well. This group could be fearsome in a couple years.
I guess Im not sold on Allen yet. I know, "you can't coach speed", and what have you, but that's really all I'm seeing from his tape. I don't think he's tall enough to be a true wideout, his lands look decent, but his tape isn't mindblowing. I'll still take him, but not over the targets with offers now
im not concerned who Mitchigan gets, throughout our history with them we have proved that when each team has an elite head coach we will win the majority of them. Woody Hayes-Bo Shempbechler, Jim Tressel-Lloyd Christmas and now Urban Meyer-Big Body Hoke. If it wasnt for the updates of Mitchigans recruiting class on here so often I wouldnt even know what their class looks like. Our best beats their best. I truly believe that.
@shadybuckeye Bo went 5-4-1 vs Woody, just saying.
"You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field."
I actually did not know that. I knew he was 16-11-1 versus Michigan, i assumed it was a favorable record versus Bo. Well you know what they say about assuming things right? (for those of you that dont know, u take the first 3 letters of "assume" and u make one of those of yourself lol)
.. and me
Treadwell would have been a major surprise to sign with OSU, I'd also be more worried about this if we didn't have the stellar DB's in our class...In terms of WRs, it was/is more likely to get Foster, Quick, and Gibson which would be an incredible haul IMO. I feel great about Gibson (like most), and think if Quick really is just between Louisville and OSU then OSU will eventually win this one by NSD...the Foster situation is intriguing and I don't think anyone can really call that until its over, I expect a lot of changes with him before NSD.
Man, I got all excited for nothing. I still feel good about Treadwell and no one is surprised he's still going through the process. He has shortened his original timetable but still probably won't be until August at the earliest, IMO. I know he's somewhat high on Oklahoma and OK State. He was supposed to go to Oklahoma's Spring Game, but was unable to because of bad storms, so I'm sure he wants to visit. Apparently Illinois made some headway over the weekend.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

@Hail - I think it's between you guys & Illinois for sure. I think the kid is a ridiculous receiver & had always hoped we might get him...

I for one hope he isn't UM bound. They are putting together a pretty sick class (probably not #1 at the end but top 5 for sure). Adding Treadwell will give them a mean offense comparable to years past that I'd rather not have to face for a couple years.
Gotta give Hoke credit, though. He's absolutely owning Illinois right now.
No Illinois coach has harnessed that state properly. Turner, The Zooker, and now Beckman (admittedly he is behind the 8 ball this season). It isn't Ohio or Florida but Illinois puts out some really good talent and the Illini haven't cashed in properly.
4-6 seconds from point A to point B and when you get to point B, be pissed off
Everyone stop it, I would take Treadwell in heartbeat and I do not want him to go to tsun.
I can't believe any school wouldn't want Treadwell. It's stupid to say otherwise. Whether we can survive without him is clear, no team gets ALL the top talent so as long as we get a talent as a whole across the board we should be able to contend well without him. We'd contend better with him though, that is where the "oh well group" overstate things.
For a while, every coach in the series had a winning record dating back to the 60's except for Cooper. That was until Tressel went and messed things up.
Woody 16-11-1
Bo 11-9-1
Bruce 5-4
Moeller 3-1-1
Cooper 2-10-1
Carr 6-7
Tressell 9-1
8-1*
