- Lewis Neal unofficially visits Tennessee
- Brandon Simmons unofficially visits Rutgers. Offered as well
- Laquon Treadwell said at the B2G Elite Camp that Michigan is the team to beat
Scout $ - Stringfellow pulls the trigger
- Said he verballed to the coaches months ago but was waiting for the UnderArmour game to announce it until his pals all verballed.
Still wants to take officials to OSU, ND, ASU.
Scout $ Video: Elite Quarterback talks visits (Caleb Henderson)
- By Kenney....Recent camps at Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State & Penn State. Says he's #1 on Michigan's board for 2014 & #1 on Ohio State's QB board for 2014. Camping at Virginia & Virginia Tech next.
ESPN 150 S Vonn Bell down to 7
Under Armour All-America safety Vonn Bell (Rossville, Ga./Ridgeland) has picked up close to 30 offers during the recruiting process, but as is always the case, there can be only one school on top in the end, so the 6-foot, 185-pound ESPN 150 prospect sat down with his family and coaches to try and narrow things down a bit over the summer. On Saturday, Ridgeland head coach Mark Mariakas announced a top seven.
"Vonn Bell made contact with the following schools, Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Texas, Vanderbilt and Clemson, and told them they were on his short list of schools that he will commit to," Mariakas said. "By Labor Day he will cut this list down to two schools and go from there with the process. This list is in no order."

Couple things from this list:
1.) Dear Laquon Treadwell, Michigan is the team to beat, eh, Well duh.
2.) On Stringfellow's commitment to Washington: So you verballed months ago silently but waited till your "pals" verballed, yet this week it is reported that your final 2 are ND and OSU. You've now verballed to Washington and yet you still want to take officials to OSU, ND and ASU? So, why did you go ahead and commit to Washington?
3.) Caleb Henderson: Interesting to see that OSU and UM are both after him. I'm curious to see how this goes.
4.) Von Bell: Your coach reveals your final 7 contenders and adds, "That list is in no order." Which could be true, it could just be a list of the seven schools, in no order, but as a Buckeye fan, I can't help but notice Ohio State was mentioned first.
Henderson is #1 on Michigans 2014 board. Haha, gonna be so great when we get him.
The big question is, who'll be the other quarterback we take?
I also never understand why kids commit to a school with the plan to continue taking visits. Ovbiously if you want to still take visits you aren't totally commited to that school. Just wait til your visits are done to commit. There's nothing wrong with saying "Washington's my leader, but I still want to see what else is out there."
So Henderson is the #1 QB on OSU's and Michigan's boards... but doesn't have an offer from either of them after camping. Interesting.
Our staff is holding off on offering QB's until this fall for the 2014 class.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Except for Crest. I know, I know... not commitable.
Agree with Tenn, strange that he chooses to put OSU first then say its in no order
We don't really need another QB... well I mean it would be nice to have, but Miller will likely be here for another 2-3 years with Barrett backing him up and possibly RS making it a 3 year gap inbetween the 2 and if he's getting comparisons to RG3, I don't think we'll need another QB except for depth reasons... so ok, nevermind what I just said. I'll still take the kid. (Hendersen or whoever)
I think it is actually believed at this time that we'll be taking 2 qbs in 2014 class, I wouldnt mind seeing Henderson and Barker being those 2 guys.
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
@KAREEM most teams take at least one every year. You just never know
Hope Bell joins that party, really like the potential of this kid and could help start some momentum for defensive recruits in the 2014 class (i.e. McMillan) as the addition of Bell will only add to the insane defense OSU is building and attract other top athletes in next years class to come and join
