I was able to find some time to do this today :D
- Michigan State offers '13 OH S Marcus Ball. Did not show up to camp today.
- 2014 DE Da'Shawn Hand said today that he plans to camp at Alabama and Ohio State in July and is trying to fit in a trip to Clemson
- Ohio State staff tells Adrian Baker they'll know about a scholarship offer on Monday
- USC offers Mason Cole
- Malik McDowell & Thaddeus Snodgrass attends Notre Dame camp

- Travis Johnson & Quincy Wilson attends Miami camp
- South Carolina offered Drew Barker
- 2014 CB Damon Webb picks up a Badgers offer on campus today
- Pitt tells Dorian Johnson that they'll keep recruiting him until signing day. Johnson, on Sandusky effect "That doesn't have anything to do with the program now."
Scout $ - Marcus Ball Names Favorites
- Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Arizona State, USC, Michigan State & Penn State. His list would change if LSU, Alabama or Oregon offer.
Scout $ - Darius West Turns Heads At Ohio State
- By Berk.....Posted a 4.36 forty at camp & was then invited to the indoor facility with some of the other top performers. Talked to Coach Hinton & plans to keep in contact.
Scout $ - Will Buckeyes Add Two More Next Week? (Adrian Baker)
- By The Bank.....If offered, he will think very strongly about accepting it. Loved everything about his visit.
Scout $ - Will Buckeyes Add Two Next Week? (Darron Lee)
- By The Bank....Will hear from the staff on Monday about an offer. If offered, he will likely accept it on the spot.
Scout $ - Darron Lee Makes His Case
- By The Bank....Thinks he's done everything possible to earn an offer. Talked to Coach Fickell about playing Safety, Nickel DB and outside linebacker. Says again that he would probably accept on the spot if offered on Monday.
Vernon Hargreaves III, DB, Class of 2013
- He's BHSN's No. 1 player on our Top 30 list, with too many offers to even list.
- Dad. who is a recruiting coordinator and coach at USF, has continued to give him advice on the recruiting process: "Stay humble"
- He's the most poised kid I've met, even in interview settings.
- On Miami visit this past weekend: "I loved it, it brought back good memories."
- Him and Chase Litton went to Miami when he was younger for camp.
- Visited all Florida schools. Likes Georigia, Clemson and says he's going to visit USC and Clemson this summer.
- He'll be at "The Opening" Nike camp in early July, then will visit USC and Stanford. On his way back, he's traveling to Ohio State, Michigan, Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, Alabama and then all the Florida schools again.

Always a good source of information. Hope you get your family stuff worked out.
Class of 2016. Go Bucks!

Michael Ferns has listed a top 3 of Michigan, Penn State, and Notre Dame.
Yeah I figured as much DMC, I guess Ferns wasn't joking when he said he wasn't a Buckeye lean. As of right now, I would say Michigan. He loved it so much. Lot of work for Urban to put them gates up on Ohio, you don't want a kid like Ferns going to TSUN
Looks like that's all today, I'm glad I was able to get a post in today haha, I won't give up on Buckeye Nation!
I'm confused why everyone is worried about losing some kids from Ohio to UM. If the kid is not better than other options, he should not get priority just because of where he's from. Ohio kids need to earn spots just like everyone else. There are two in state LBs I'd take over Ferns right now. And UFM has locked up the best OL, DB, DT, and WR/ATH in state for 2012. Does that mean he's letting our best talent leave? No. What Ohio DE is better than Bosa? What Ohio TE is better than Baugh? What Ohio QB is better than Barrett? What Ohio DB (besides Burrows) is in Woodards class? And don't say Dymonte because I don't consider him the best Safety in state, let alone DB. If Urban considers a kid tops at his position, he'll get pursued like it. Regardless of where he's from. It's not like the Ohio kids committing to UM are Woodson or Desmond Howard level players.
Preach it JDADAMS01! We have to be selective due to scholarship losses. Would love to get all the Ohio kids but it can't happen. Just as Alex said, we'll take Joey Bosa and you take Taco Charleston and we'll see who wins. Just the same, we take Clifton Garrett and you take M. Ferns with the same result. No disrespect to Mr. Ferns but we have to go after the top 3-4 guys at the positions. He will fit in nicely with the other guys if he so chooses.
To clarify about myself, I'm not worried, just dislike seeing Ohio potential 5* kids going to Michigan (Especially when it's only a 2 hr drive from St. Clairsville). We all dislike Michigan to some degree right?? It's in our blood. I would rather see a kid like Ferns go to Penn State or Notre Dame just because I really like this kid. If Ferns was to commit to TSUN I would have to hate him for 4 years haha.
But yeah, as far as LB's go in 2014, I'm most fixated on Clifton Garrett & Dante Booker. They are ours to lose. Then I would go after Raekwon McMillan, then Michael Ferns being the 4th LB I would pursue. 2 of them guys are from Ohio, 1 from Illinois and are very good in their class. If we have any chance with McMillan we would have to steal him from under UGA grasps.
There is still ALOT of time for these kids to decide where they wanna play ball at, anything can happen, I've seen crazy things.
I completely agree with JDADAMS01, but what i don't understand is why didn't anyone like Thomas, McCray, or Zaire or a lot of other players didn't just stay uncommited and try to earn an offer at camp. I don't why everyone thinks it's so "cool" to commit early. Did they not want to be buckeyes in the first place or just didn't want to EARN an offer from Ohio State? I'm sure if they just camped a few could have been buckeyes.
Some kids take it as a smack in the face when one big time school is offering on the spot, and his dream school (McCray) refuses to offer but offers others (Love, Anzalone, Neal).
Not saying this is always the case, but if you are shunned by your "near and dear," what better place to go than the most hated rival?
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

I'm not sure why we wouldn't be taking 3-4 LB's next year and if so, why wouldn't Fern's be in that top 4-6 list? I know he isn't better than a Garrett or Booker, but he sems to be a 3-4th LB in a class.
