Our punter is in. According to 247, he was the top punter at a recent Bama camp. From Orlando, FL. Full scholarship. I would assume this was a Pantoni/Meyer offer and commit on the spot sort of deal.

I dont expect for TOSU to have punt alot being as such the offense will be devasting by the time he gets here.. In the event TOSU has to punt aleast their in good hands..

Godofwarbuckeye, even teams with absolutely elite offenses still punt plenty. If this guy is as good as everyone says, he'll get plenty of opportunities to impact on special teams. Imagine teams having to get past our beastly defensive line AND drive 85+ yards every time they get the ball. As long as its not neglecting an obvious position of need, I don't mind a scholly dished out to a special teams player.

Im glad to see we landed a punter,(a position of need here in the near future) and what seems to be a damn good one. With that said I can't phathom that Johnny Townsend Ray Guy or anyone else you can think of, would be allowed to committ before the likes of a Khaliel Rodgers or worse yet William Hurst Jr...A TRUE nt that we know wanted to be a Buckeye but instead chose to be a SCum for the next four years becaue we would'nt accept him...SMH
