Dont know if anyone else saw this or if anyone else really cares. But look the the recruiting team ratings on 247sports:

Alabama hops Michigan. I know its not a huge deal but being at the top of those boards seems to bring a certain swagger to the fans.
Go Bucks!

Okay.
How in God's name is Elliott a 3 star on 247? They lost all credibility for me after seeing that...
247 hasnt had an update for a lot of their player ratings in awhile, so we'll see where he is after next update
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
BFL20: I think the recent camp in Illinois was his first ever. It is hard to evaluate people based only on film because competition could vary a lot. If he puts another big day up at The Opening and any other camps he attends, they will move him up when they recalibrate their rankings.
Observations:
1. What does this have to do with us??
2. It must have been their unranked long snapper that did them in, because both teams got commits in the last week from a 3 star and a 4 star... the only difference being the LS
3. Michigan still has a significant hold on the #1 spot in the rankings of all of the other major recruiting sites. So I'm not sure the swagger will be lost.
Quality over quantity. 247 takes both into account. 247 is probably one of the best ratings sites out there...I trust them and Rivals for rankings, Scout for skill areas, ESPN for the giggles.
Interesting to me to see where PSU is...It's early to put a lot of stock in any of this but that is still surprising.

If you change the chart to average player ranking, OSU is third; right behind Stanford (who has 3 commits) and significanly behind first-place SC.
