Need help identifying an autograph

My mom bought an autographed photo @ a yard sale. I can't figure out who the player is, his name is not printed anywhere and there's no COA. The seller told my mom that it was Troy Smith, but clearly it's not. He's wearing #9 and it's from when they still had the Grey striping on the arm of the uniform shirt. Does anyone know any good resources to look up old rosters with uniform numbers?

Troy Smith was #10, couldnt help ya without a picture. Im sure if u uploaded a picture someone on here would know without even doing research. I have one of Michael Jenkins when I seen him at an autograph session at Franklin park Mall right before he got drafted I believe it was. definitely provide an image of it, i'd be interested to see who it is.

Haha Bryan Weaver was my 7th and 8th grade football coach. He was the third string punter on the 2002 champ team behind Groom and B.J.

Ohio State's athletic website has a listing of who wore which numbers and what years they did so.

Actually it was very simple. Record books at Ohio State Athletic Dept have a lot in the archives. You just have to know where to look. Thanks for thinking I am smart for a little while though.
