I think Derrick Green would be a great compliment to Elliott and grew up a huge Buckeye fan but Mizzell would be more suited for Urban's spread offense. Mizzell has been tearing up every camp he attends and seems to dominate every time he competes. I have wanted Green in this class from day one. Who would rather have and who do you think has a better shot ending up in the 2013 class?

Either one with Dunn and Smith here I don't think we neeeeed another RB this year but it would be gravy to get another.
Mizzell has definitely proven himself on the camp circuit, but I'd much rather have Green, since we already of Zeke. Green is one of those guys that if he wants in, you take him no matter what.
Give me Smoke---kid flat out has jets
Smoke also showed his pass catching prowess in the 7v7
What @Urbz said. The spread possibilities are much higher/more diverse with Mizell because he's shown that he has great hands as well as moves in open field.
Do you think the odds are good that we at least get one of the two? I prefer Green, but if Mizzel was ready to commit I'd take him rather than wait on Green
Correct me if I am wrong but Mizzell named his top 10 a short time ago with OSU in that mix. I don't believe he has cut it further and want's to make it to Cbus for FNL.
Mizzell put OSU in top 3...UVA will be tough to beat...have Elliott but kid fits Meyer offense like a glove. From Rivals Challenge top performers:
Wow. After reading that, I think I'd like him more than Green now!
It's pretty impressive that we're in his top 3 even though, if I recall correctly, he hasn't visited yet.
I think him and Elliot are gonna sky-rocket up the ranking after dominating camps this summer.
Let's have him commit at FNL!
If Smoke makes it to FNL, at this point I would like our chances, just like the situation with Dorian Johnson. Wiltfong did tweet that PSU may be team to beat for Johnson now though.
I actually think that works in our favor somewhat, regarding Johnson. He was always gonna be tough to get, but if PSU is in the lead now it shows he's not totally sold on Pitt. Have him visit for FNL and who knows what happens.
Not worried about psu that NCAA investigation should be starting any day now ..
Hardly home but always reppin
Both Mizzell and Elliot will be at The Opening. Love to see Zeke put the recruiting pitch on him while they are both at that event.
Like both, but if I had to pick, I'd take Mizzell over Green. Green compares to Brionte Dunn (I like Dunn more) and by all accounts, Dunn is going to be a star here.
Mizzell looked awesome today, but 7 on 7 setup is MUCH better for showcasing his skill set vs. Derrick Greens skill set.
I'd love to have either of them.
i think with already having dunn mizell would be the better fit. kick/punt return, scat back, slot reciever. basically seems like a defensive coordinators nightmare
mark may wins douchebag of the year... again
I feel like the long Green recruitment has caused Buckeye Nation to sour on him. He was offered about a year ago and still has til February before he signs some where. We've heard about him nonstop throughout that time and it's been drama filled storyline of "He's always been a Buckeye fan" vs. "School X seems to be the hot school in his mind right now and he still claims no leaders after a year". I don't begrudge any kid his right to take his time, but it feels like we've been waiting on this kid forever.
Oh, and I think Smoke is a greater homerun threat which is what we need.
@JDADAMS01 I saw somewhere that he wanted to get his teammates recruited a little bit. He doest really reveal much in his recruitment as far as his leaders, favorites, ect.
Id much rather have mizzell. Speed over size errrrday of the week. Urbz is settin up what he had in florida. j marsh= percy harvin, zeke=jeff demps, taquan=rainey. so many playmakers.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog
Bucksnut13: If Mizzell and Green both committed, UFM would take both. Also, Green is plenty fast, I wouldn't be concerned with that.

@703Buckeye: That's not true...there is only room for one more RB (if that) in this class, even though I'm sure Meyer would love to have both.
BFL20: I think that is true. UFM would not turn down two talented backs like Mizzell and Green. Not to mention, Mizzell can play receiver as well.
