PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
Do you think we have anyone on our roster that can win a Heisman?
Braxton definitely could if he flourishes under UFM. If Jordan Hall had a breakout year to I think he would have the skill and stats to win it. I think this year the Buckeyes will be at a disadvantage in post season awards though due to the ban.
Not this year that I foresee. Depending on how well Brax takes to the new offense I'd throw his name out for next year, perhaps.
I dont think anyone can win it this year, but I think Braxton, Dunn, and Rod smith all have the potential to win a Heismen. I think it would be hard for a reciever to win unless they are a kick returner as well.
In this offense the only players who are going to contend for major awards are quarerbacks and flex position players. No one else is going to get enough touches.
Only Braxton in his jr or sr season.
LOL @ Rod Smith winning a hesiman. That guy is only loved because he has size and was a 4 star recruit. Has shown absolutely nothing on the field to say he could win a heisman let alone be a starting RB on the team.
I agree Buckeyejason, but the question was the potential to win a Heismen and he has the potential to do it. It is also only a redshirt sophomore right? he has plenty of time.
