qb recruits 2013 Chapman vs. Trubisky

If you could choose would you take Trubisky or Chapman? I'm taking Chapman especially with his speed/arm strength combo. On film they seem much better than Trubisky's.

Trubisky. But OSU probably won't take either.

I like both, but I'm guessing since Chapman doesn't yet hold an OSU offer that the staff prefers Trubisky. Although from what I hear, at this time Trubisky's offer is 'non-committable' till they see where they stand with scholly numbers.

Yah I think your right about the O line. Pocic would be nice and would really like to see us get James quick out wide. the kid is explosive with the ball in his hands.

Cooper Bateman to Alabama...(per espn)

So, i'm guessing this helps OSU out a bit, that is if they actually want him. If he has a committable offer, it is safe to say that the staff has seen enough of Cardale Jones this spring.

Anyways, I'd take Trubisky over Chapman, although both are very exciting.

Cardale Jones has a cannon. Some guys that I know that work with the team say his day will come. He may even get in on some trickeration...

Please no more QB commitments. Even if JT Barrett doesnt pan out (which I think he most certainly will) we can easily wait until next year to pick up the best dual threat out there. Braxton still has 2 years left (after next season) meaning if we get a guy next recruiting class he can start as a sophomore. dont want or NEED anymore, backup QB depth isnt nearly as important as shoring up the O-Line, playmaking WR like Gibson/Quick/Foster or Derrick Green or another defensive stud

I am not sold on Trubisky.  He has a delivery that makes Phillip Rivers' look textbook.  He is a talented kid, but I am happy with Barrett and getting some other playmakers.

Maestro-I noticed that about his delivery. Truth

@Irricoir.  He kinda sidearms/shotputs the ball.  It's not an armpunt, but it's far from a thing of beauty.

Watch his feet when he is delivering the ball. I believe under Meyer/Herman he is coachable. Under the old film guy, certainly not worth a scholarship.
