Dorian Johnson, a 5* offensive linemen on 247 sports, out of Belle Vernon (PA), has narrowed his list to four. In no order: Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, and West Virginia. Dorian is visiting Pitt Friday. Ohio State and West Virginia will receive visits from Dorian in June. Dorian also plans on making his college decision in late June, or early July. It should be tough beating out in-state schools, Pitt and Penn State, but the Buckeyes definitely have a legit shot, especially after the Coaches get him on campus.

Would that be his first time on campus too?
Favorite Buckeye: Obviously BJ Mullens
Would love to add Pocic and Johnson to go along with Lisle. OT's and WR's should be the biggest targets for us right now in the 2013 class. Get the two guys I mentioned and try to add any two of Gibson, Quick, or Foster at WR and call it a successful class. Whoever might commit at Safety or LB or any other position would just be icing.
I don't know...the fact that he has BOTH Pitt and Penn State in his top 4 would seem to bode well for TOSU. Usually the in state guys are either all one or the other if they are truly serious about staying in state. I could be wrong but after seeing this list, if it is indeed accurate, I feel as though the Buckeyes are looking pretty good with this one. Time will tell....
"You're pissed because we went after a committed guy? Guess what, we got nine guys who better go do it again. Do it a little harder next time." -- Urban Frank Meyer -- I LOVE THIS DUDE!! :)
I hope Johnson commits to the Buckeyes after his visit. But the other thought I had was about Pitt and West Virginia. Those schools are now recruiting kids knowing they will be in different conferences, Pitt to the ACC and West Virginia to the Big 12. They are both joining better conferences than the Big East they have been a part of (football BE being crap compared to basketball BE). I'm guessing it would be easier to get a kid to play for you if you tell them you will be playing Florida State, Miami and Virginia Tech or Texas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State, rather than South Florida, Cincinnati, Louisville and Rutgers.
This guy fits right into Urban's Offense. He's big, but not sloppy....he's very athletic for his size. Gifted with great feet. Future NFL LT.
"You win with people." - Woody Hayes
Pitt is the favorite here is what I'm hearing....I think OSU has a great chance to swoop in here.....I also think this is the prospect they have been holding out on which is why someone like Lazard was not able to commit when he wanted to
Do we take Pocic, Johnson, and Rodgers? That would be a huge OL haul, rivaling Michigans. I'm just hoping we have the space for them all.
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Triv---yes we do.....
I honestly think we should be thrilled with getting one of Pocic, Johnson, or Rodgers. These are high-quality OL guys that are hard to find and in high demand.
