You know what, I wasn't a big Leach fan when he was at Texas Tech. Like Weis, he's one of those coaches who's never played a down of football himself. So I always thought it took a lot of cojones to adopt the old disciplinarian attitude he took with James junior.

But how he's handled himself since getting fired, he's turned me around. And obviously the guy can coach. Tuberville has done nothing with the Red Raiders since taking over. I'll be interested to see how he does with Wazzu.

Maryland had the opportunity to grab him and decided to pass. I'll bet they're really kicking themselves now.
