I'm originaly from Toledo, Ohio; however, I moved to SC in 2005 for work. It's rough watching Buckeye games with my wife since she doesn't quite understand why I yell at the TV and say things I wouldn't typically say. With that said, I'm looking for Buckeye fans close to Columbia, SC that might want to get together and watch games this season. I'm looking for "normal" people, Eric Waugh's need not apply.

To make matters worse I have a Wichigan fan as a neighbor...What are the odds

Ahhh, we're not so bad. My wife doesn't get it either. When we first started dating I made her leave the room whenever Michigan started losing or doing badly. Now she just takes the kids shopping during the games.

My wife can handle my screams at the television when its a Buckeyes or Browns game. What she can't handle is me flipping out at 1AM because Cal broke up my 8 leg parlay.... sons of b*tch*s. The crazy thing is when you owe a bookie 500 bucks, and he shows up on your back porch and breaks your hand with a tire iron, you still owe him the money..... crazy.

Does this neighbor live across the culdesac from you? Possibly near a golf course?
Oh oh...

I am very lucky to have have tons of Buckeye fans in my area. Not a weekend goes by when I don't hear an O-H if I am in my gear (which is always).
USCIO3....I wish...lol
Sad thing is I didn't even know he was a Wichigan fan until after The Game last year. Funny how he finally crawled out from under his rock with his Wishigan gear when they FINALLY won. I expect he will soon be crawling back under his rock.
Pam, that's exactly what I need...lol. I miss being around the people who REALLY understand Buckeye football.

Got it from the alumni club gamewatch page. Not sure if you'll find "normal" people but I'm pretty sure you will find plenty of Buckeyes who will respond with a hearty "I-O".
[Edit: Damn Pam. You beat me to it.]
[Edit: Also good to know there are gamewatches in Shanghai and Hong Kong if I ever find myself in China at gametime.]

My father in-law lives in Chapin,SC. He is a Wolverine fan as is my wife. A buckeye family moved across the way from him a few years ago.

This past basketball season when the Buckeyes came to Columbia it was like a home game. It was amazing!!! Craft's sister couldn't stop laughing at how many Buckeye faithful showed. It was nonstop O-H-I-O

I seem to recall that the Triangle Alumni Club rented a bus for it's members to attend that game. We actually have a pretty big contingency here in central NC.
[Edit: Well, I was partly right. The Charlotte Club got the bus.]

I have been living the same thing for about 6 years. I live in Charleston, SC!! Thats a a couple of hours away, but I feel your pain. Luckily, there is a nearby bar that caters to Browns fans less for Buckeye football, but it is nice to see a few others on game day!!! Good luck!!!!

I had to watch tOSU-Meatchicken in South Korea in 2005. Thank god for the armed forces network. It was so weird watching it so early in the morning there. Still remember Gonzo making that clutch catch and jumping up and down in my hotel room trying not to wake my roomate up. Good times.

Born in Texas, but live in Iowa... Unfortunately I've only met one other Buckeye fan here. All others are obvious annoying Hawkeye fans w/ a few Cyclones in there. But I'm like some of you, I turn my phone off during games and can't be disturbed. I can't watch the game w/ my GF because she just annoys me, asking too many questions or pretending to root/cheer for the Bucks which is even more annoying. Needless to say, I need to get the hell out of Iowa!!
@ Krazy12. Where is this bar in Chucktown...I've been stationed down here for 3 years and the best I've found was the BDubs up in Summerville.
I am also from Iowa, and have seen a few here and there, but dont personally know any others. Makes for a long season, and since the majority of my family are Hawkeye fans it sucks. They are like Cubs fans, this will be the year, and it never happeneds,
kareemabduljacobb, What part of Iowa?
Pay It Forward!
@USAF thanks for your service, man. I'm strongly considering the Marine corps in a few years
Cedar Falls, how about you?
@ Buck-I.8...Thanks man, and the Marines isn't a bad choice at all, next to the Special Forces guys, they are some very bad dudes.
kareemabduljacobb , Des Moines, do you go to UNI?
Pay It Forward!
Yep I do... I should of been done w/ college a few years back.. but ya know. HA. Did you go to UNI?
