I saw on another Buckeye site earlier today that the potential is there for Price to play on OL...so question to someone like Alex who has connections -- do you think this is possible, and would Price be ok with it?

I know Price wants to play DL, but anything can happen.
Yeah, someone was tweeting him about that. Price didn't seem all that amused. Basically said the staff told him he's being recruited as a defensive tackle, nothing else. He said he could if the team needed it, but it wasn't what he wanted to do.
Ezekiel Elliott last night said something along the lines of being excited for Billy to block for him, and then Billy asked if Ezekiel knew he was playing defense. So then it was about whether Bosa and Billy can catch Ezekiel (it was rather amusing).
Anyway Price has been very adamant that he's tired of all the speculation of him moving to OL and that he is being recruited as a DT.
He's the kind of interior DL i like, real strong off the burst. Even with the depth problems, Id like to see him stay at DL
I think he's a d-lineman......right now.....one of the Pounceys were moved to DT briefly so you know Urban won't hesitate to move Price if he feels OG is the better fit
No
As stacked as our D-Line is, we are heavy on the ends and need DT's like Price just as much as we need OL.
Serious question for the group: If Price perceives the (apparently) real possibility of being moved to OL, do you think that could affect his decision? I know he won't end up at Michigan (just getting that out of the way because of the Block M in my avatar...), but I'm sure there are a lot of places that would want Price to play D-Line exclusively.
@OBMB - Gotta say I've been concerned about the same thing, as well. I think that, if anything, he'll play double duty. As @DefendYoungstown mentioned, we need DT's. I think Price recognizes that, and that's why he's staying on board. Might be good for him, give him a little chip on his shoulder to show that he's every bit as good as our other D-line recruits.
Think he is miffed at those that may be tweeting him with this notion. He knows what the coaches have told him. It would get old and annoying hearing things that are possibly far from the truth over and over. That is what we are seeing from him now. Don't get your hopes up that we lose a good one.
Personally, I'd worry a lot more if he were from ANYWHERE other than right in the heart of Buckeye country. That said, I can see it being an issue down the road. Those tweets seemed like he was genuinely angry - it might be coming up a lot more than we realize.
Not sure if I'd call YTown the "Heart" of Buckeye country, it's pretty much in PA, and seems more like Pelini country these days
Point taken - Just Simon, Linsley and JT Moore from Y'town the last few years. Not as many as I thought.
