2014 Suwanee (GA) OT Orlando Brown visiting

2014 Offensive Tackle Orlando Brown Jr., son of the late former Browns OT Orlando Brown, will be visiting Ohio State on July 9th.  He is also visiting Michigan on July 23rd.  Thought I would pass this along.  Brown is 6'9/360 as pointed out before.  An absolute monster.  He has said that Ohio State will be a legitimate candidate for his services.  As a reminder, he does go to same high school as Cam Heyward and Brad Roby did, although he only knows Heyward.

According to his interview, he doesn't "know" either. He met Cam Heyward once

I think Roby will be one of Brown's hosts, at least I expect him to be.

Rarely do I get truly excited about recruits (Spence and Washington in '12/Marshall and Bosa for '13), Brown is one of those guys. The kid is an absolute beast, he will probably be ready to step in and start the day he arrives on a college campus.

I was to young to remember Orlando Pace, only because I was focused on offense of guys like Eddie George and didn't know much about football yet. But this kid is massive and not saying he will be as good as Orlando Pace but I would love to see an offensive linemen that is as dominant as Pace. I believe he got votes for the Heismen as an OL that is insane I want to see that!

Root: IMO, Pace is the best o-linemen in OSU history. He was only the second true freshmen to start on opening day for the Buckeyes. He is the only two-time winner of the Lombardi Trophy (linemen or linebacker) and won the Outland. And yes, Orlando did finish 4th in the 1996 Heisman voting. Pace didn't even allow a sack in his final two Buckeye seasons. I was only a kid when Pace played at OSU, but he's my favorite football player of all-time and I know a lot about him.

If Brown Jr. is half as good as Pace, I will be thrilled!

For a few laughs, here is the campy Orlando Pace Heisman video...
