Not very into Twitter analysis of these kids but Vonn retweeted this earlier "Urban says @TheVonnBell7 is going to be the next two way player at OSU..Chris Gamble style! What a compliment and congrats!! #BuckeyeNation"
I'm really high on him, and know he is interested in Ohio State. Does anyone know if he has set a timeline or a date for his commitment?

All I know is that I'd love to see another Gamble-style two way guy.
Maybe Anzalone could do what that LB/FB did at Stanford...
@Rdubs
I think you are referring to Owen Marecic who is currently with the Browns.
"if irony were made of strawberries, we' d all be drinking a lot of smoothies right now."
You got it, I knew I would butcher his last name so I didn't try (and didn't quite care enough to look it up).
What position does Bell play on offense? Wide Receiver? And on defense? Safety/Corner?
He's a ball hawking safety, and a wideout. #2 safety in the country, apparently he's not a massive hitter, but his break on the ball is second to none--which would explain why he's also a damn good wideout.
Thanks Hodge.
Vonn Bell and Jaylon Smith on twitter mentioning what if they went to the same college.... They have been tweeting each other a while. Man if we could land those two.
Smith and Bell...
Does Bell have an offer from Notre Dame?
Yes he has ND offer...he has also visited ND, but says OSU is his favorite visit so far.
I appreciate Urban referencing a former Buckeye rather than a former Gator.
Don't sleep on his (Bell) tackling i've seen him layin wood on a number of occasions. As far as landing both Bell and Smith, well that would be two future top 10 picks. Book it!
Spot on, Sarasota.
Very encouraging.
I have mentioned before that Bells 180 tackles with 119 of those solos for his junior year are stout numbers for a safety. He is as smooth, fluid and natural looking in the defensive backfield as they come. Would love to see Cam Burrows and some of the other guys start working Vonn and Jaylon Smith. Add those two to the defensive guys we already have and it would be a shut down defense as good as anyone.
I really like this kid too. I also like his name, Vonn Bell is gonna ring a lot of bells for the silver bullets. Heres hoping! Go Bucks!
It was interesting that we offered that UNC commit, who could play LB, Star, or Safety. I expect the heat to pick up on Bell soon though. He's a stud and we need safeties. Badly.
I would much rather get Bell than flip Dymonte Thomas any day. Cannot understand the desire to even think about flipping Thomas, as he is tainted now with the sun and blue anywho, when we can possibly get Bell who imo looks like he brings more to the table. The guy looks like a young Tyran Mathieu. He's a playmaker that is hard to find. Hate to go on about the guy but I think he is that good.
I totes agree. Cravens and Bell are both defensive playmakers and gamechangers. Dymonte is good, don't get me wrong, but most of his earth shaking plays were offensive.
urbzrenewal, which of those db's do you think we have the best shot at? i think cravens is all usc, but there's a small chance nebraska or michigan could wow him on an unofficial. any interest in tOSU from mcquay?
Bell is on record saying tOSU has been the visit that has stood out for him, so, personally, I think he is the DB we have the best shot at.
Cravens=USC
I think there's a good chance we could land Bell.
Agree...I'll be surprised if Cravens even makes any unofficials to any B1G school, even though he said he wants to. He said he's announcing on June 6th. USC it is.
I would also agree Bell is your best shot of those mentioned, but I think he is SEC bound. Georgia or Alabama if I had to guess.
Those who stay will be CHAMPIONS!

I would'nt be so sure about that Hail2...He's talked pretty highly about TOSU's campus and raved about the family atmosphere and UFM. I truly believe we are in the driver's seat on this guy. I know it's still early though.
All these guys should consider coming back this month for visits. You can't say no to an offer when Oval Beach is populated
