I think due to the national hatred on OSU, we could be hearing about the Tressel Tattoo Five crap for MANY years to come. I live in Tennessee and anytime OSU is brought up, the school, the football team, Urban Meyer, even the basketball team, it always comes back to the scandal. People think the basketball team is cheating. Its ridiculous. Its always the scandal and OSU's trouble against SEC teams.
Unfortunately if Meyer has success, which I believe he will, people will assume, and already do, that OSU is cheating.
i havent read the article, but i always enjoy when someone outside of the stadard sources (espin, bleacherreport, etc.). i've always found that once you leave those sources, the articles are fairly neutral. its hard to talk about how meyer is adjusting this year without mentioning tat-gate. while annoying, its inevitable that we'll be hearing about it for a while
There is an article in Sports Illustrated about Meyer and the bucks this month. Not bad. Doesn't touch much on the scandal, moreso the whiny Bret and recruiting!
The scandal is going to be mentioned for at least the next 1-2 years. Its just something we as fans are going to have to get used to.
still a good read. thx for the post RBuck
Nice story. Good read for sure.

You just have to look at the bright side at least the national media don't mention Maurice Clarrett in every article like they did up until Tatgate.
