So, that is actually interesting. The draft will be for everyone involved with the program. All the support staff, all the trainers, etc. The staff on the losing team will be involved in the community work project as well. That is just awesome. I am beginning to like Urban more and more.

I know Recruit, I put this up last night. And I believe in the video it said the coaches were having a draft. I agree it's pretty cool how staff and trainers are being drafted as well

Herman and Fickell "drafted" the teams this morning, but it's more a competitive balance draft than a true draft. Wait, doesn't Alex have to confirm it for it to be true?

Someone's got the sarcasm out on full display...geez.

I think it's better that he's got his coordinators drafting rather than captains. A few years ago Justin Boren ended up playing tackle because his captains didn't draft enough of them. I also hate straight up offense/defense.

You have to have a more "competitive balance draft" than a true draft. Scarlet - Braxton. Gray - Simon. Scarlet...hmm, screw you we're taking Guiton too. Something like that could happen so you have to make sure it's somewhat competitive and "fair."

Yup, my point exactly. Plus Simon has been destroying everyone in one and ones and to keep Simon and Hankins from being paired (since they would likely draft all DEs then all DTs, etc).

It's all about making it fair, but fun. The community service would be in Buckeye Grove, which is an awesome motivator too.

Love UFM, love him. This spring game will be a hell of a game to watch.

Damn recruitbuck somebody is a little sarcastic today. I said I'll wait for Alex on the JT Barrett committ because the source provided was the same guy who had "sources close to Diggs confirming he would go to OSU." So forgive me if I was a little skeptical. No need to attempt to take shots at me. I posted this last night, Urban said draft so I said draft.
