@Bass- We have quite a few RBs on the board that I think are much better, just my opinion. If he turns out to be a huge playmaker, I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. As long as we end up with Green, I'm good. I'll be excited for Thompson if he really did commit though because we're in need of a S
I think Ezekial will be more of a playmaker in the Offense versus a straight up RB. Perhaps we'll get a glimpse of how he could be used when watching Jordan Hall this season. To me, Ezekial showed good speed, good hands, and good shifting ability in his highlights.
Watch his highlight video if you haven't yet, it may change your mind. He's already utilized in a spread offense with zone reads, bubble screens, and the pistol.
I watched his video he looks pretty good, if he does indeed run a 4.4 40 then I am fine with his commit, we arent exactly hurting for RB's. I think Meyer wants a few fast shifty guys which we really don't have besides hall who is on the slow side to me. I also think he can afford to take a chance on a RB in this class as well. But this guy doesn't seem to be that much of a risk looks good.
Also maybe this will put some pressure on a few of the other top RB OSU is looking at, I assume he will only take at most 2 RB's in this class so only room for 1 more.
14.1 as a sophomore in the 110s is insanely fast, even if it is wind-aided. Any high schooler under 14 is one of the tops in the nation, I'm excited to see what he runs this season.
Just saw this on twitter. Great news
Expect #7 soon. Apparently Thompson called Billy Price and told him he was gonna commit.
Thompson who?
ya saw it on the other thread, thank you tho, since they got thompson, do you think they land cravens or bell. Or are they pretty much long shots.
another thing if you might be able to answer can I change my profile name or do i need to create another account?
I won't lie, I'm not terribly excited by the commitment. I'm surprised the kid even had a commitable offer
"Love my State, hate the football"
Upnorth, please tell me that's an April Fools joke...

Here's a quote from the link below that I didn't know about Ezekial:

Disclaimer: NOT A FAIR COMPARISON
Ted Ginn Jr. 110m - 13.4 (high school best)
Ezekiel Elliot 110m - 14.1 (wind-aided, but as a sophomore)
Josh McNeil to announce 5/25
