Hey Guys,
Since a lot of recruiting news happens on Twitter, I thought I'd share some knowledge (since I'm not sure if everyone knows how to do this).
To embed a tweet:
- "Open" the tweet by either clicking on it or clicking "Open"
- Click the grey "Details" hyperlink
- Click "Embed this Tweet"
- Copy and paste the code that looks like this "<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>..." into your message on 11W under the "Source" button on the WYSIWYG bar under body*.
It'll end up looking like this:

can you explain pictures to while you're at it? I've struggled with that one for awhile. I can post a link to a picture but never the actual picture. I suck.

click copy image location.
Click the image icon.
paste into URL under the image info tab.

when you go to post a picture and/or .gif click the picture icon and copy and paste the url of that image into the URL spot. then voila, your image/.gif should show up.
if it doesnt, then you may not have grabbed the right URL. in that case, go back to it and re-check...the URL should end in either .gif .jpg etc...

There's a section to the right, though somewhat hidden, called "RESOURCES" - it's below the "RECENT COMMENTS" box on the right hand side of the screen. You'll see things like "How to use this site" and "Helmet Stickers Leaderboard."
Jason - do you think the "On Downvoting" post should be there, too? Or maybe the original post that explains how the voting system and stickers work?

Scared me with another topic that referenced "Quick"

6. Click the source button again to return to the WYSIWYG view.
I followed the instructions, but I still cannot imbed the source code. I may have memory allocation problems. Whenever I put in the code and click on preview, I get this message "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 80 bytes) in /home/elevenwa/public_html/includes/database.mysqli.inc on line 168". If anyone knows what my problem is please respond. If it is my computer I will look up some possible solutions to get it configured correctly.
I think you can the "embed media" button and paste the embed code there as well. I seem to recall doing it that way in the past.

When I open a tweet I don't have a details link...
I have:
Reply Button RT Button *(Favorite Button) ... (I can copy link/mail tweet)
I don't have an embed option. I update my twitter app whenever it is available.
You have to open it in a web browser (likely on a desktop). Embedding from within an application is not feasible right now. It could happen, all they'd need to do is expand their share feature to include output to HTML, but right now, nope.

How do you do Gif files I am so confused?
Lots of programs, but most of us just steal what others have done ;)
I keep getting an error message when trying to embed anything, or copy a URL and paste it such as a YouTube video. Here is the message,,

Can some one explain in Layman's terms what is happening? Also a way to fix it, please.
