I read an article from a recruiting analyst who wrote that OSU has had to tell some "highly ranked and talented" kids that they were not ready to accept their commitment. Does anyone know which recruits the analyst could be referring to?

Do you mind revealing where you read this and who wrote it? I would be interested in reading about this.
I know Alex has referenced 'committable' offers versus 'non-committable' offers, but I had not heard about OSU not being able to accept a commit from a recruit. Are they telling them to wait to commit because they want to see what other recruits show interest, like its a numbers thing?
I just hope if the coaching staff is doing this that it doesn't come back to bite us with top level guys. We don't need to be losing out on top guys.

I think Shanker is more talking about Mitch Tribuskry and Aaron Bailey, both are ranked in top 150 other than guys like Joey Bosa or Alex Anzalone.

To me that seemed to be referring more to Malik Zaire/Mike McCray.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
Coach Drayton was the one to say that recently after a practice. It's the committable/non-committable situation. Nothing big really, every program has to take the best guys for them. Lots of kids want to play at OSU, but OSU can't take them all.
