Heuerman was at Miami's Spring Game this past weekend. He took an impromptu trip to Notre Dame today until Wednesday just to get one last look. He goes to Ohio State on Friday and will be there until Sunday night. I will be interviewing Mike after the Spring Game and have details on his visit, but I still feel good about this one. I think he's just getting one more look around at Miami and ND, but the Bucks get the last visit and you know Meyer will put the heat on.

Cheers for the always solid work Alex, look forward to your update
Thanks for your great work
Thanks Alex. Can't wait til the 27th.
sooo no go on McNeil if he commits, right?
I find it hard to believe they would take 3 TE's with talented young guys like his brother and Vannett already on the roster.
Don't give up... Don't ever give up.
I think McNeil already knows he's out because it sounds like he's starting to explore other options
"Love my State, hate the football"
so he extended his ND visit another day? I know people are confident......but he sure seems to be spending a lot of time in south bend.
Hoping Heuerman picks the Buckeyes but if not Baugh is the real deal and we could shut down TE recruiting and still be in good shape there the next few years with guys like Vannett, Heuerman, Thomas, and now Baugh. We will be doing just fine if Heuerman and McNeal decide to go elsewhere. If one of them decide to come here then even better.
^^^ ditto posted a little late
That is interesting about staying in ND an extra day, no shame in making sure you are positive about the decision. But it kinda sounds like he hasn't made up his mind yet. I think its great that OSU gets the last shot and having his brother on the team cant hurt can it? I would love to have him in this class, but if he goes else where I hope with Baugh already in we use the scholarship for another position rather than go back after McNeil. We still have some TE's including Jeff Hueuerman, I also think Blake Thomas that signed in underrated and could be a bit of a sleeper in that 2012 class. I just think in this 2013 class, with limited room, we don't absolutely need two Tight End's.
It would be very frustrating if we lose out on Smith and Heuerman to Notre Dame while having both of their brothers on the team. Maybe it can hurt?
