Lewis Neal, a Southern prospect attended OSU’s spring game today and certainly could commit to the Bucks before he heads home Sunday. “There’s a chance,” said Neal

Would tOSU want him for DT? I don't see why they'd pick him up at DE with all the depth we have there
"Love my State, hate the football"
And he's too slow IMO to play LB. I just don't see him fitting anywhere on our defense, not that he isn't an amazing athlete
Sorry Urban, Woody is still my favorite
Neal is a very underrated player-- at the NC 7on7 he was just as, was called "unblockable"- and I think his stock is definitely going to rise. The Bucks are looking at another underrated defensive player in Hurst Jr. also. It'll be curious to see which one ends up in this class because, with limited numbers, I don't see any way both of them get taken.
If I had a choice between the two, I'd take Hurst. Elite speed from a DT is nice to have- I don't see that "elite" speed from Neal- in the end, it will all come down to what the staff sees.

I love Hursts film. He absolutely explodes off the ball. At 6'2 275, he is amazingly quick and even has some nice offensive highlights. Give me Hurst over Neal
With the limited class size and Bosa looking like he's going to be in I don't see how they have room for anymore lineman, especially with big needs at WR and on the O Line. Right now this class is at 15. There's a good chance Hankins or someone else decides to declare for the NFL early and there will also be a few transfers of players here that Urban didn't recruit and that don't fit his system. I think the transfers will come after this season when people realize they aren't going to see the field.
As far as Neal goes, does anyone think he could play Middle Linebacker. He's about perfect as far as size for the MLB spot. I think he's got enough speed to play there. On his highlight video the play he scored as a TE he was moving pretty good. That's the only way I see Neal being in this class.
@ERICBO, just curious, how is class @ 15 right now?
I think he means class potential based on scholarship room.
