It seems that everyone's concerned over our lack of OL committments for this class. I think we have a pretty good tackle haul coming this summer so im more concerned with the interior line. Kaliel Rodgers is the answer!!! This kid is a beast and seasoned vet on the camp circuit and plays NASTY with bad intensions. Check out his junior yr highlights and camp highlights as well on Rivals. I'd like to no what you guys think of him.

Personally, I love his film and would love to see him in this class. He's extremely explosive/mobile for a solid 300lb'er-- this new staff is looking for long/angular tackles on the outside, and I think someone like Rodgers would be the perfect copliment on the interior. Couldn't go wrong getting a kid who could be a 4 year starter on the inside.
If you ain't a Silver Bullet, you're a target
Agreed. I see him as a tone setter on that line. Future leader
If anyone on the line is going to be the "tone setter," it should be Joey O'Connor. Kid plays with a mean streak.
I wouldn't cheer for Michigan if they were playing the Taliban.
If anyone is going to be the "tone-setter" on the o-line, it's going be all 5 of the ones on the field. Any alternative is unacceptable in this offense.

I just meant a leader amongst the lineman. Sheez...
with the news of a potential Bobek transfer, I hope we put a full court press on this dude. LOVED the fact he was calling out the top DLs in the country!
@MASBUCKSFAN- My sentiments exactly!!! Been pushing this kid's name hard for a few weeks now and with the news about Bobeck it only pushes the point home.
Bill Kurelic tweeted, "Khaliel Rodgers plans to visit Ohio State in May and talks about possibly committing to the Buckeyes at that time."
Did you hear that Mr. Munger?
I'll take Khaliel over a converted DT, I think he'd be a great asset to Buckeye Nation.
LOL, you don't think Munger plays OL?
Well, I'm just saying... it is a different skill set, one that would require Munger to become more of a project, trying to learn that role. Case in point, Chris Carter looked much better on the D side of the ball this spring, than he has on the O side of the ball... part conditioning? For sure, but they are very different mindsets, & to my knowledge, OL is tougher to learn than DL.
But, this IS a thread about Khaliel Rodgers, & to my eyes... the kid's a stud.
Amen Woody4!!!
Munger plays OL in HS. How will it be harder for him to learn than Rodgers?
Munger plays OL in high school and some high level D1 schools are recruiting him at G
Ah, must've missed that... referenced I saw just had him listed as DT.
Yeah Munger plays OL as well but I don't think he plays near the same level as Rodgers, a natural OG.
Really enjoyed watching the camp film on this kid. I'd really like to see him in this class.
